      Go through the installation instructions again. One of the files you downloaded here ends in .tlk. That's the file and it must be in the wrong place to cause that particular error message.

    Hello, Hope this finds you well -

    love the module, more to say another time, but am stuck with same problem as Nebuknight back in 2017 - the fight on the wall will not complete. Have tried repeating it several times, but just get the dialogue from the Captain and then nothing else, no cutscene, which I believe should follow. Have tried talking to him, yet it just restarts the fight and tries to replay the siege towers approach - though the easterlings just spawn in on the old ones.  I also noticed that throughout the fight I was unable to actually attack the siege towers. I could select them, but spells would begin then stop casting, and whenever I directed someone to attack them, they just turned around and chose another target. Despite repeatedly casting AoE spells, including fire, the towers took no damage, though, once the fight ended, the towers shifted into a wrecked state, which is perhaps WAI, but either way, the whole business stops right there and will not proceed past the captain's comment that "we did it!". Did you ever find a solution to this? Is there something on the widget where I can spawn the next scene that will not play?

    25 November 2021, 4:03AMHi there. Yep back again. Trying something different. A Sindar Elf Bard/Rgr/Ftr/AA to be. I wanted to try him as a Bard/Ftr/AA but I am guessing I'd have XP deducted as he has no RGR levels. Anyways I'm stuck in Tombs of the Fallen. I used control box to open door to reach the tomb below it but the door to enter the "Furnace" area is still locked, even though I have clicked on control box X times now. How do I open the door please.

    Hi,
    really enjoyed the previous chapter, but I encountered a bug that makes the game unplayable right off the bat with this one.
    See, right after the first cutscene I simply cannot talk with the slaver or the other guard, and of course leaving the room triggers the torturer attacking and killing me.

    Has anyone else experienced this problem and solved it?

    Edit:
    It seems the cutscene isn't supposed to end when the jailer leaves the room, but it does for me, how can I go about solving this?

      Someone else had this problem - a full reinstall of NWN2 fixed it. This part of the campaign definitely works as it should.

      Have the same exact problem and recently re-installed NWN2 and just downloaded this module again from Nexus. Still no joy, shame as it sounds fun and I truly enjoyed IP. Downloaded the merp troubleshooter widget you mention on other threads and my character will jump into different chapters and all but I'd like to play thru. My problem is the same as others mentioned, in the original dungeon cell after the dragon has his conversation with you and the torturer comes in the cutscene ends when the torturer leaves the chamber. The slaver never speaks to the guard and the other guards and the torturer all turn hostile and attack. I've had this issue every time I've downloaded this module and this is the 2nd computer that I've tried it on. Definitely new NWN2 download from GoG, so is there a mod that Umbral Abyss doesn't work well with like Tchos?

    Not sure if it is a bug, my character sell items on 10% but my companies 100% ( 8000g Max. ).

      that's only works in dwarf's shop for now
      Percivell's home in Dale ctiy.
      high steel weapon sold 8000g by teams, show 5000+g in trade

    Wow, wow, wow. OK a few little glitches, here and there but what a mod. Thanks very much Kevin, Sophie and everybody else involved. I ended up being a 3 Rg/ 4 Ftr/ 10 Fb and 3 Div Ch. Gave the character able learner and so continued to put points on DD, OL, Search and Diplomacy. Buffed up to the eyeballs with magic vestment, grt magic wepaon, shield of faith, living undeath, greater heroism. Played hardcore throughout. Crispin was an 8th lvl Ftr, 8th WpnM and 4 DC. Will try him as a Rg/Ftr next and so my character will be a Cleric/Stormlord or a Rgr/Ftr/Conj/AA

    Not having much luck with Umbral Abyss. Played through IP and really really enjoyed. Have now made way to the river docks, defeated the Easterlings in the area and then the cut scene by the boat where Ivan and Lyndsey, go onboard and Crispin, Jamot and I await H's cronies to attack. I have had a couple of issues where my character or an npc will not fight, not sure if it's the tiles. Anyways we defeat H etc, cut scene, influence, Jamot to come along and we are in the lower deck of the boat. For a brief second there is another cut scene, t goes and then we are all just standing together inside. Nothing happens. Looking at Ah Travesty's brill video. There is a cut scene of all sitting down conversing. Nothing like that with me. Anybody out there who can help please. Even if it means jumping to or moving to the next part

      Have a go using this solution I provided a player on nwvault. This is a direct copy...

      I have 2 solutions at the ready. An in-game fix and a new game fix.

      To fix this issue in-game:

      * Using the console:
      DebugMode 1
      giveitem merptestingwidget
      DebugMode 0

      * Use the testing widget's special power

      * In the list of options, select option 15 (LOAD UA2) This will immediately load the next chapter, in addition to applying all necessary game states.

      The new game fix: I have now updated the modules download to include a copy of chapter 1 (UA1) with this issue fixed

      I saw a comment on FB that said they might have test/demo by December for at least the first part. Looking forward to it myself.
