I'd just really appreciate it if you could add a proper explanation of the changes you made to the troops in the description tab or just sort and organize the images to better show which unit progresses into which unit and what it replaces from the vanilla units because right now those images are in such a mess I can't stand looking at them desperately trying to understand what the hell is going on with these different troop trees
am i the only one feeling that one of the most important features of battania is fians with double quiver and a two hander? all the factions seem to be really not much diverse. im fighting myself on this matter to be honest, but i think it would be cool if not every troop leveled to tier 6 or only scaled thier skills (and not eq) a bit after specific point. not every faction needs to have high level two handed shock troops with heavy focus on horses and variety of usage(khuzait), one should have only light pikemen (battania), one needs to focus on heavy infantry and heavy calvary with mediocre distance troops(empire), one (sturgia) could be a jack of all trades. vlandia f.e. could have amazing crosbowmen with heavy horses on top of cannon fodder infantry (not sure about this idea tho). i have actually one more idea that could improve variety a bit: only noble troops should have really top tier equipment. commoner's should have tier 3 equipment at max tier skill level. theese are only examples, i'm not really medieval weaponry freak, so to make it lore firendly one should know a tonne about the subject. variety would make the game much better in my opinion. all and all i really enjoy all of overhauls you made. they have amazing compatibility with RBM command system.
I've been feeling the same way. There feels like a lack of variety. Almost all factions have a t6 2hand, a t6 1h+shield and a t7 cav. Then a t6 archer with a shield(or crossbowman) They all feel extremely interchangeable. Khuzait are the only faction that differs much. I greatly appreciate the mods, lots of fun, just little variety.
The nobility has the best equipment possible. There is no other higher. This was because you only have one noble line in the base game. Two-handed weapon with bows and arrows is a fantasy that will not appear here. There is no emphasis on horses here, the nobility has access to heavy cavalry units and has a higher level to be more expensive than infantry. Depending on the faction, it is sometimes weaker than its pedestrian counterpart.
Additionally, two quivers are only available to Khuzaits as they have the weakest armor of all factions. That is why some Khuzaits units have double quivers to deal with the fight against the empire. I was planning on adding horse crossbowmen for the Vlandians but they are ineffective and more harmful than positive. Download Warlords Battlefield there, the balance has been well done, the arrows have not worked very well in single overhauls.
More variety will only appear when the TW adds more armor as almost everything has been used at the moment.
A small report on battanian performance with this mod. Elite Fians seem to have very low level arrows and only have one quiver instead of the 2 they have in vanilla making them quite weak compared to other archers even if they outrange them since they no longer punch through armor and run out of ammo. Overall this mod ends up making battanians weaker than in vanilla so something about other unit performance may be messed up too. I have had battania get taken over very early on in 3 campaigns with this mod where they previously survived much longer in their vanilla state against your other overhauled unit rosters (this mod was not up yet so I played with the other factions overhauled and vanilla battania).
In my mods, all factions except Khuzaits have single quivers with arrows. Besides, the Fian are not the best unit in the ranks of the Battanians. As you may have noticed, the leaders here are noble units with two-handed weapons and Fian are only noble archers.
Thanks for the heads-up ! I'll definitely start a campaign this mod in no time. So what about snowball effect in the long run ? Is there any overpowered faction or vice versa ?
The modification was tested in terms of balance. You will not experience a snowball, this is unlikely. Each faction is powerful depending on what battlefield you fight on.
You can try, but one of the helmets will have an overvalued head protection value. The version that does not require the Realistic Battle Mod will be released in a week's time.
There was no earlier single for the Battanians. This is a single version for those who don't want to install WarlordsBattlefield. It is also a preparation for the release of a version that does not need Realistic Battle. If you currently own Warlords Battlefield, download updates for Warlords Battlefield, patch notes will appear this afternoon.

Do you have any plans for a single mod includes all the factions without any dependencies you've made so far ?
Regards,
Check Warlords Battlefield there is all in one.
