tried and still didnt work, i have a friend telling me it works like that too and he has done it before, but then he tried it again to prove me wrong and now it doesnt work for him. not sure whats happening.
sorry for late reply, im using bk cultures expanded. MCM shows the mod, tried all tiers, and no error message at all in the tournaments, it just doesnt seem to be affecting the game
I wanna note for reference that currently, with this mod loaded last (as in very last in the list, after everything else), everything seems to be working perfectly. I note it here as I also have Banner Kings. I also have RBM (arena module off) and Tournaments Xpanded. So something else must be up in your mod list.
Edit: I spoke too soon. I am now occasionally getting some exception error. It brings up the ButterLib error popup, but attempting to continue works fine (so not game breaking, just annoying). I know its a conflict somehow as the exception says its something to do with tournaments and Banner Kings, and it hadn't happened before until I added this mod. I can send you the ButterLib report/log if you'd like to take a look.
You can configure tournament participants to all wear armor of the same troop tier and with the current settlement's culture.

Very cool that this works on Arena Overhaul's team matches. Are blunt tournament weapons a feature of vanilla now? I don't have your mod or any mod that alters it but somehow have wooden weapons. I like it, just can't determine the source.
That's what's weird - I don't have your Blunt Arena Weapons mod nor have I installed it ever. Testing on new sandbox removed RBM (tournaments off), De Re Militari, Arena Overhaul, Arenas extended. Blunt wooden weapons are still there.
It would be interesting to be able to change the standard armor of tournaments, for example everyone with average armor is good in tournaments with many lords

I am getting a crash with this mod enabled but there is no report, the game just closes, I have 1.1.6 version of the game and it happens when I try to load a game
I read on ButterLib/Harmony that TW has a new crash reporter that supercedes theirs or something, so thats why the game isn't generating reports on 1.2x right now. Anyway, @OrderWOPower, thank you for your timely response, I am not expecting you to troubleshoot, you've already done the work of creating the great mod. I was just letting people know for the general awareness. But yes, it is this mod, or conflict with this mod. I only have Detailed Character Creation and Dismemberment and their requirements.

Do you see any debug message that says "unable to change armor" when starting a tournament round?

It was working fine until 1.2.4 beta, but after today's update to 1.2.5 beta, it no longer works.Try updating the mod requirements to the latest versions.

Make sure you have the latest version of ButterLib installed. It fixes the issue of the TW crash reporter superseding its one.
I'm getting occasional CTD when try to enter the tournaments. I'm not sure if it's this mod causing it.
