File ratings reminder

  • Comment
I have added a notification overlay to display once every 7 days (by default) to remind all members to rate as many files as possible that they have downloaded by viewing their download history.

You can tweak how often you get reminded to rate your files in your member preferences section, which also has the option to disable them altogether.

When accessing the download history, the following error message displayed:

    Not Found

The requested URL /news/"http://www.fallout3nexus.com/members/history.php" was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Great job ! But I would prefer if it was like the Forum's Assistant, popping up at the page's center <img class=">

The download history is an epic tool in my opiion. I lost over 75% of my downloads when my hard drive went crazy last week. Thanks to this facility I will be able to rebuild my Oblivion experience pretty well.

I do find some of the feedback left by others successfully boggles my mind.

I also like the reminder feature, and the fact that I don't have to rate if I don't want to.

It is good to have the choice available I feel.

Honestly I didn't even notice the "download history" feature till a week ago, so i think the reminder is a good idea, especially being able to change the reminder in our preferences afterward. Usually I check for new mods every night or so then when I have spare time I test them all out the next weekend. I doubt most people download, install and thoroughly test most mods in under a few hours.

To all those still bitching about the rating system. With the old system I was afraid to leave negative comments, it ended up being a 10 or nothing system anyways. This new system just eliminates hundreds of useless messages to the moderators crying about people leaving less than 10 ratings. It may not be a perfect system, but sadly neither are the members using it. The moderators are just trying to find a middle ground

I personally thinks 3 hour wait for endorsement has draw back as I for one forget to endorse the majority of my downloads simply because I return to forum before 3 hours are up and then forget to endorse because I type a few/lot of lines then get told I did it to early, some mods it's pretty clear are good/bad after about 1 hour <img class=">

There is no functionality at present to remove non endorsements. No one, not even Dark0ne can remove them, and I did look....it seems that the mod does not meet his high standards was the option selected.
