I believe all the old files should still be visible in files tab. You should realise though that the mod IS a dev build, its not a separate mod that can be installed on your older build, it was its own build. So you either use the old custom dev build with this feature from here, or the latest official dev. I would suggest using latest official dev.
I can't seem to fins how to activate this on OpenMW, I have 'Smoot movement' turned on (and 'Turn to movement direction' turned on) but it doesn't seem to do what this mod did. Is there something else I am missing?
atm im using .49 with a ton of mods.... if i drag and drop this into my build will i break absolutely everything? or is just 100% not the way to do it... im pretty confused... how do i just get the animations?
update: yeah it absolutely broke everything! CTD.... thankfully i took back up now i can load my game however now everytime i load i have to type "enableplayercontrols" or else i can not move i am stuck....
Although this is moot now - you don't really need to drag and drop anything, your mods are in your Morrowind folder or in MO2. OpenMW is a completely separate folder. In fact you can even keep multiple versions of OpenMW in different folders, no need to overwrite anything at all.
probably the first problem is i dont use mo2. i come from old school minded modding. i mod inside the openmw folder manually.
however last night i tried again to make my vanilla steam install of morrowind a openmw and use your mod and im sure im just too stupid to figure it out. but failed. i couldnt even get the path to set up. so i guess im just too stuck in my ways and old school to get the whole openmw and organizer thing.
not like i havent used mo2 before... i used it with skyrim... i liked using mo2 a lot better than nmm. never the less. i digress... for some reason morrowind ive only ever enjoyed manual installing mods.
what can i say? "C'mon...help a scamp out. You gotta need something. I've got booze...."
that said. im going to use your MGE version of this mod with my mge install.
I tried adding the mentioned line earlier in the comments but it didn't make a difference. it does this regardless if lower sneak is enabled or not. using 49.2. edit: disabling smooth animations transitions fixes the issue, although you lose the nice smooth transitions :( oh well, the stutter was driving me mad lol
Ok, sticking this for future dwellers, apparently sneaking issues still persist, Im aware of those, its a side effect of a slightly strange way OpenMW sneak animations and camera seem to work. I don't know if I'll be able to fix it on the animation smoothing side, but at the very least I've added it into related gitlab merge request, so devs will be aware of it.
It's amazing! Buuuutt, for some reason it only works when I launch it from the Openmw launcher. If I add the Openmw exe provided here to MO2 and start it from there, there are no smooth animations. It's so strange! Anyone have any insight? I wish they would add it to the nightly builds SO much!
I really hate to pester here, but will there be a version for 47. anytime soon? I have cool mods that are 47. only and there's no updated versions on them
Whenever I launch this version of OpenMW with MO2 it deactivates all my plugins and I have to manually enable them every time I want to start the game, it doesnt do this when I launch the normal OpenMW executable anyone else have this issue?
