I am in debt to RuffinVangarr for Ceremonial Adamantium Armor, of which this is technically a retexture, as well as Tyddy for Armor Retexture - Outlander Styles, from whence I borrowed and edited textures. Please endorse them; I couldn't have done this without their work.
The replacer version covers the standard unenchanted ebony set (excluding the shield and weapons) and the unique Sarano Ebony Helm. NPCs will automatically wear the new armor; see screenshots.
The standalone version has identical stats to regular ebony and can be purchased from the smith in Ald'ruhn. It also includes two additional armor pieces: a skirt and another version of the cuirass that is intended for use with the skirt.
Compatibility: The replacer version edits the records of every ebony armor piece, so it'll be incompatible with mods that also edit those records: for example, armor rebalance mods. You can use both; to get the new visuals, load this mod lower in your load order (but you'll sacrifice any changes your other mods make to ebony armor). Standalone version should be compatible with all mods except those that edit the contents of Dandera Selaro's merchant chest.
There are also reduced resolution textures (512, versus 1024 in the main download) as an optional file for those who want them.
Changelog
- 1.2 (Both versions) - Fixed missing 1st person gauntlets.
- 1.1 (Replacer) - Removed an unused file that was causing an error, also fixed an issue where the new icons weren't being used.
- 1.1 (Standalone) - As above, plus: fixed Dandera Selaro not selling the armor properly. Thanks to NullCascade for help with troubleshooting.
