Huh? I guess you don't know that waterfalls freeze in the winter. This kinda just makes no sense but i do really like you other other mod.

EDIT: Why don't you make a Frozen Waterfall mod

Not all water freezes in winter even. Rivers are often still flowing with the top layers frozen. Sometimes it's ice on top, then water, then more ice, and then the rest of the river at the bottom.

I live in Canada and I think I know about winter very well. Small waterfalls freeze in winter. Always, period.

      https://www.simonseeks.com/blog/amazing-frozen-waterfalls-around-world

It happens like this: the water in the river/stream that supplies water to the waterfall supercools (when water experiences a temperature less than its freezing point without becoming a solid) when the temperature dips below the freezing point (around -6 degrees Celsius). This results in a gradual slowing down of the flow as water molecules begin to stick to each other and form tiny, solid particles of ‘frazil ice’. Frazil ice, which has an oily appearance when seen on the surface of water, is a cluster of loose, randomly-oriented ice crystals shaped like tiny needles. It usually forms in rivers, lakes, oceans, and other water bodies containing turbulent, open and supercooled water.

Rivers and lakes are different. They freeze on top but not all the way down. People still fish in winter. Besides, I never said anything about rivers freezing. If rivers and lakes completely froze (HAHA) then all the fish would die and every summer the dead fish would float to top. That does not happen.

River and lakes freeze so solid that snowmobiles can drive over them and people skate on them safely. Anything less than 3 inches should be avoided at all costs. 4 inches can support activities like ice fishing, walking and cross-country skiing. 5 inches can support a snowmobile or an ATV, while 8 to 12 inches of ice is enough to support a small car. In the Arctic the ocean freeze to a point where semi tractor trailers with tons of weight can drive over them.

What you have linked is one if not the largest waterfall in the world. These massive waterfalls are fed by super large rivers. Gullfoss, Detian Falls, Blue Nile Falls, Kaieteur Falls, Angel Falls, Niagara Falls, VictoriaFalls, Iguazu Falls are the largerst in the world and the moving water is so powerful that it does not freeze because it is creating a friction against the ice and therefore melting it.

The video you linked is of one of the largest waterfalls in the world that is powered by a massive tributary system. Not of the small extraneous waterfalls in this mod. It is very rare for a massive waterfalls like that to completely freeze over because the moving water creates a friction which melts the ice that it moves past. It is in a constant state of freezing and melting and actually turns into something different than just water and ice. Niagara falls, one of the largest in the world has frozen over twice in history. What keeps it from freezing every year is it's massive size.

So yes, you are correct in that not all waterfalls freeze in winter. There are some rare natural wonders of of world that do not freeze. However, that is not what this mod showcases. This mod showcases small waterfalls which always freeze in the winter.

@darkmon: lmao you are kidding right?
We wouldn't have any ski hills or be able to skate on any lakes if what you posted is true... average January temperature for Toronto -1 to -7 and Montreal are -4 to -14 and that is in the large cities where it is much warmer than in you were if you were in outside of the city or in smaller cities like Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Regina. If you were to go Skiing in Saint Agathe (canada's largest east coasts largest skiing area) the average january temperature is -13 to -18 C, you must live in the maritimes or west coast city Vancouver area but those areas represent a very small area comp[ared to the rest of Canada and they also represent the west and east coasts of the second largest country in the world.

Winters can be harsh in many regions of the country, particularly in the interior and Prairie provinces, which experience a continental climate, where daily average temperatures are near -15 degrees Celsius (5 degrees Fahrenheit) but can drop below -40 degrees Celsius (-40 degrees Fahrenheit) with severe wind chills.
      average winter temperature in canada

Just to put this to rest here are summer and winter pictures of Ottawa's famous Rideau Falls
The average winter temperature in January is -6 to -14
Not only do the falls completely freeze but it is famous for their winter festival were there is skating on the river.

What a pointless thing to argue about. This mod isn't compatible with the mods I use, but it looks great.

Hi, is this mod compatible with Solstheim: Tomb of the Snow Prince's landscape overhaul?
If not, is this something you are thinking about patching in the future?
