May be a bit late to say but i absolutely loved the Dream Siphon poem i dont know if you made it or stole it from somewhere lol but it was wonderful thanks for such an amazing companion :)
The main thing preventing this from being my favorite Morrowind companion mod is that he can't carry my stuff. But he is only wearing a loincloth and some footwraps, so I'd be concerned about where he'd be keeping it.
Yeeah, I figured that the enchanting/spellmaking service helped make up for that. It is very intentional that Companion Share is not in this mod. Where is he going to keep it, in that giant hole in his head?
Thank you for your support of this mod! I hope you enjoyed it.
I'm also sad about the companion share aspect missing. I love the idea of having a mentally impaired ash zombie carting around all my junk with an oversized backpack strapped to him. Post main quest, he'd make a great conversation piece while exploring the other provinces in the other province mods. A great trophy and reminder of what was once the 6th great house, now reduced to a carrying around my crap. Thanks for creating another unique and lore friendly mod TDM. Your mods are essential.
I was thinking a backpack more like this https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1757 Something oversized. Something fit for a pack mule slave.
What I need to know is how powerful he is, since there's no way to check his condition or equip him with any weapons/armor. Does that mean his health and magicka regenerate on their own? And does he level up with my character?
UPDATE: Took him out into the field adventuring and had to resurrect him twice via console, which I suppose isn't that much of a problem, but the fact that he has no weapons and uses no magic makes it a tough sell to use him.
If you don't want to give him any equipment then at least give him a stat buff and the ability to cast spells since it makes no sense he can provide spellmaking and not be able to use any magic himself.
Giving him the ability to heal during sleep may prove useful, and giving him spells may keep him from dying as often. I'll see about updating when I am able.
Since Ash Zombies are enhanced Dunmer, I recommend giving him their 75% Fire Resistance. Being an enhanced Corprus host, a small degree of constant health regen would be fitting as well. And the fact that both Ash Slaves and Ash Ghouls have 20% Reflect and Zombies don't never made sense to me either, since Zombies seem to be their intermediate stage (and Reflect would greatly make up for their usual inability to use ranged attacks).
May want to give all three abilities to every normal Ash Zombie as well, just so the companion isn't the odd one out.
He has a backstory that you can find out by talking to him. It doesn't go much further back than "Wow how did that dagger get stuck in your head, why do you not serve Dagoth Ur anymore?". I don't plan to update Dagoth Valmyn in particular, no. He is as finished as he will ever be.

Edit: Wait, looks like I already did?
I am very interested in this. How much of backstory does the guy have? Do you plan to do more?
