Thank you, I really appreciate that. It was a different time back in good old 2016. I was making mods and covid didn't exist those were the days.

There appears to be something wrong with the video.

There doesn't seem to be any problem with activating the video play link image (on the "VIDEOS" page). It shows the normal page layout with controls (zoom in/out, fullscreen, etc.) at the top and title at the bottom; however, the entire middle part (where the actual video should be) is blank.

The "fullscreen" and "close" controls worked as expected. Clicking on "zoom in" made "zoom out" available, i.e. could now interact with it; clicking on "zoom out" as many times as "zoom in" had been clicked made "zoom out" unavailable -- of course, with no content, there was no visual response to zooming in or out. So, to the extent that I was able to test this, all controls appear to be working normally.

I tried hunting around for any hidden elements, e.g. black text on black background -- couldn't find anything like that.

No warning or error messages were emitted.

Welcome back and thanks for replying.

I attempted another look at the video. I'm seeing an animated spinner in the centre of the page, which I previously noted as being blank, so perhaps that's a step in the right direction. However, the spinner just stayed there: whatever progress or processing it is indicating didn't complete.

There does seem to be some general problems with Nexus today. I couldn't log in initially -- closing the Nexus page and clearing the browser cache got past that hurdle. Then the Stats page for one of my mods wasn't displaying correctly -- a couple of page reloads seemed to fix that one. A few tests indicate browser and network from my end are fine. I used Nexus, on and off, for several hours yesterday without any of these problems (or, indeed, any other problems). I'll give the video another try later in the week: if you don't hear back from me, assume there's no improvement.

Video is not one of my areas of expertise. I'm not in any position to provide any help, beyond reporting the problem.

Quick Update: I remembered one of my mods had videos (not posted by me). I've just tried them: all three worked fine. So, the problem with your video is probably not a generic Nexus problem.

    OPENMW USERS:

Just a heads up, both of the clothes mods this guy put out makes my OpenMW install stutter like crazy. Tested on 0.44 and 0.46 nightly.

Textures are almost impossible to retrieve from the folder once they're in since there are so many loose files, so either backup and try it yourself or try a different mod.

You should have given yourself a travel lantern or used a torch so we could see your screenshots.

Is it okay to use texture optimizer on these textures?

Several of them have odd dimensions so they will be resized, so i was just wondering if that will cause problems?

I would only suggest at scaling them down to 1024X1024 and the vertical textures of course 512X1024. Its basicaly going to look better then the original but take the detail out of them at any lower then my suggetion. IKR lanterns lol my tv must have seemed brighter when I was making the screen shots. If you like upload some screenies of your own after you reduce them and you can even upload those reduced textures undre my permission of course. -_-

Well I am still going through the process of installing mods. I decided to scrap MGSO completely after two re-installations already and start fresh using a mod guide instead of MGSO.

I haven't really tested your mod much since I haven't started playing yet, but from what I can tell so far roaming around testing my mods is that the textures I have seen look good, although the designs on some might not be considered lore friendly to some, but I don't mind it myself.

I think these clothes look great and are well detailed. My only complaint is that some of the clothes look a little too dark and maybe a little too colorful, but it is not that big of a deal. I may need to turn down my monitors color settings a little though.

I was actually considering trying to swap out Better Clothes textures with yours so I could still use the mods, but decided it was too complicated and time consuming to decipher the naming scheme for their files and some of their texture dimensions differed slightly too.

My hope is that someone eventually makes a compatibility patch for your mod and Better Clothes as it is beyond my skill.

Oh yeah, I noticed you updated your screenshots. They look alot better now.

Yeah, you would have to take my image and resize it in Photoshop and place it over the better clothes image, I could do it but again very time consuming, then doing all of the expansions more clothes and what not. you can still use this with better clothes though and some better robe meshes

Yes, the original "Better Clothes" more looks like a "SPAM", just abandoned and forgotten project, as many of other good things for Morrowind. Any modding has no "lazy/easy ways". Other players always have the choice to install any of perfectly clothing mods for BB (by Korana, CanadianIce etc.). But sometimes, a simple rule - "all ingenious is simple" is a best solution. Thank you for your hard work, i will try it very soon... Good luck!

Your welcome, I wanted to enjoy knowing I made it & I could share it with others. I had some grand illusions of it becoming popular and being put in the hall of fame on the nexus. I guess I need to learn nifscope or blender next. So, I want to make the blood-moon & Tribunal clothes or some armor. My favorite is the brown extravagant robe, I used 9 layers on that one. let me know what you think if I could fix or change anything. I haven't seen all of my own work yet specifically the tribal clothe's. Can you believe the crap I was getting for making this it was making me feel like they wanted to be the ones who did the work and calling me an amateur.

Don't worry about HoF. Am quite sure that most players like a "vanilla style" textures and models (just a little improved), the work by Darknut prove it, for example. I think, you need to create a few screenshots about "before/after", just for comparison and information for players. Oh yes, Blender and Nifscope are greatly useful tools for modders, good luck in their learning!

P.S. - Oops, almost forgot. HoF is more for players, not modders. The players (as myself) will never tell you how to do it best (they just don't know it), only other modders (or thair works) can help you in development. Best place (imho) is Bethsoft forums for modders.

I bet if somebody made this work with the better clothes mod everybody would love it. Better clothes always made my game crash saying it was missing a part in the left foot or whatever. I made most of the pants that looked horrible with those old blurry textures better when I darken up the pants
