Well, since this collides with NoM and I don't want to fiddle too much around with esps midgame, I disabled your mod and cleaned the save. Is it safe to do this midgame? Your readme seems to suggest 'yes', but I'm still unsure.
Hi. I went to the vendor, bought the potion case and tried getting it. When interacting with it the first time, I get the "Initialized" message, but no item into my inventory. When I interact with it again, I get the browse and pick up options, but my weight jumps to 33'000 and the game plays the pickup noise on a rapid loop without me being able to close the inventory.
I've ran the SE Updater and I'm not running any other container related mods (Only running Code patch, XE and expansion delay), any idea what is causing this?
The problem was probably with xStringParse function used by the mod broken during a past MWSE update. Latest MWSE-Lua release should have fixed it, give it a try
the problem with the "initializing" seems to have been fixed with recent mwse. But now i can't open containers from the inventory. Whenever i equip the container or activate it via quickslot it just says "ammunition pack has run out" or "potion case has run out" or similar depending on the container type. I need to drop the container to the ground first and then pick it up again i can open the container and that is quite annoying. The readme says you can access the containers easily by using hotkeys.
OK, I'm at a loss. I went to the vendor in Vivec, and bought the keyring for 15 coin. It says it's in my inventory, but I don't see it anywhere. So I went back and bought it again, same issue. What am I missing here? Note I have MWSE installed and am not receiving any errors.
I had a question about your containers, specifically the key ring. I used this mod in a previous play-through, but don't remember -- if I 'store' my keys in the key ring, will I still be able to use them to open doors, or do I have to 'retrieve all' to make them function?
Great mod! Just a bit of a problem. Is there any way to use this in OpenMW without using MWSE? I don't think they're compatible. When I installed the mod without the latter, I couldn't purchase the containers from the merchant, and I couldn't pick up any of the containers when I spawned them near me using console commands.
Another really great, well-made mod that I can't use because it's outdated. Really is a bummer.
I'm playing completely vanilla Morrowind (for nostalgia-sake) and decided to try this since there's never enough space in containers to stash loot later in the game. I downloaded the latest MWSE and installed this but this mod and there's one other, I forget its name but it does the same principle with portable containers, anyway they will consistently CTD anywhere if I try dropping / placing the containers on the ground. The textures morph from black to purple and then depending where you move and angle yourself to view the container the textures change to other items from the game (like baskets, indoril helm, dirt, etc... ) almost like it can't figure out which texture to map to the object. Then eventually it will CTD
