Will it work with most recent Graphic Herbalism MWSE - OpenMW?

    Hello,
I have an issue with this no glow mod. I use OpenMW and a fair number of mods, notably Morrowind Rebirth. I suspect there might be an incompatibility with it though I'm not entirely sure. The thing is that when I enable the no glow mod, some mushrooms appear floating in the air in some places.

Hey abelthorne, I reckon the problem will be Morrowind Rebirth adding/moving mushrooms and then No Glow adding it's versions in their vanilla locations. You'd need a Morrowind Rebirth compatible version making, I'd be happy to see what I could do.

That would be cool but it's probably a lot of work if you have to check all the mushrooms that Rebirth added (especially as it's an ongoing project that might add/remove some in the future), I'm not sure it's really worth it. ;)

Does the mod technically replace the mushrooms by a different version? I assumed it just removed the glow part (a mesh, probably?), so was surprised to see that they were placed differently.

The mod changes them into lights. I'm not sure if you can make a mesh emit light, even with glow mapping, but I could be wrong? I use a mod called Glowing Bitter Coast by michael163377 ( Link: http://mw.modhistory.com/download-44-14321 ) which adds glow maps to glowing flora but they still don't seem to CAST light unfortunately. The problems arise when mods (like Rebirth) move vanilla mushrooms because then you have 2 instances made, the one that was in it's original position when it was changed by GH No Glow and the one in it's new Rebirth position, if that makes sense? There is probably a way around it, but I read somewhere that Rebirth isn't even compatible with regular Graphic Herbalism so I kind of gave up, is that true though? You can PM me if you'd like and are interested in discussing further? :)

It's compatible but has some minor bugs. From the ModDB page: "Some plants still open due to conflicting edits. Really nothing that can be done unless someone creates a patch."

Great mod, it works! But please change color of glow around mushrooms. It was blue, now it is white (maybe yellow) for some reason.

      Hey rush,

Just thought I'd check and see if you happened to ever find a fix for the color glow?

Completely agree with rusheretic! The mod is fantastic and definitely going to be included in my standard build. I know, I'm a little late to the party, but has any progress been made on replacing the glow with the original blue hue for mushrooms?
