Reading some feedback, the blood textures sometimes are vertically applied to the ground. Other than that, seems to work.
I’m not able to find the original mod though, all links in description are ghosted.

Here is the archived Morrowind Modding History page with working download. You can find this mod and more on Abot's archive.

just tried it out and it looks great!
Just curious though, whether you know of a way to permanently increase the decay time and such on the gore?
I doubt I could keep up with entering the console commands or using spells every time I load a save.

    Hi!

I tried this mod because I really liked it from the pictures but I have a problem and unfortunately it does not work for me.

When I attack a human and hit it it drops strange yellow dices or something instead of blood.

I am using OpenMW v0.46. I installed everything correctly as it is in the txt. First the original mod 2.14 (also the Tribunal addon) and then I copied the new texture files in the texture folder.

What could be the problem? Is it a compatibility problem perhaps?

By the way I put the contents of dir "_TL_blood" and copied into "Meshes" and "Icons" but not the whole folder itself with the files in it.
I do not know if it could be a problem at all just wanted to mention it.

I need a quick help, thank you in advance!

You're missing textures. Yellow dice are the game's way of saying "textures not found" without crashing. Go back, double check everything's where it needs to be.

Download and install Blood & Gore (it's linked in the page description), then override with these textures.

Using this on top of Blood & Gore 2.14 seems to cause red blood sprays on creatures that leave white blood ground textures. Without this installed, the creatures in question(kwama foragers) have both red blood sprays and ground blood textures. Any ideas? I love the rest of the texture changes.

Man I always wanted gore in Morrowind. I will start a new playthrough after seeing this.

Haven't downloaded this yet but judging by the screenshots the blood looks like garbage. It seriously looks like a bunch of stickers on the floor, or some kind of google image slapped on top of the surface.

Firstly, if you don't like it, don't download it. Simple as that. I don't mind criticism, but do so after trying the mod, not beforehand. Secondly, as stated in the description, this is a work in progress. If you'd bothered to read the mod description fully, you would've known that already: "These textures can be used freely as a modder's resource, as I used stock images as a basis for creating many of them."

If you're looking for blood to work like in Skyrim, I'm afraid that's beyond MW capabilities. All blood splats are going to look like "flat" transparencies. There's a limit to what the MW engine can and can't do.

I actually never tried about Blood and Gore mod, but this retexture convinced me to give it a try. At first, I tried the mod in it's original form without your retexture. I did not like it much at first, but after tweaking some of the values it felt nice. I'm still not fan of the sounds, but that can be easily fixed with silence files. Then I tried your retexture. I must say I really like all of them except for one - the normal blood. The texture itself is very well made, but the problem is when it is layered several times, i.e. when you fight with someone on one spot. The highlights on it's sides make it look very unnatural to me. Plus it's color does not match very well with the blood cloud. It also looks a bit too brownish IMO. But otherwise you did excellent job. The dremora ash and dwemer oil are my personal favourites.

Comments like yours are the reason why I made this! Blood & Gore is an oldie, but a goodie type of mod. Hopefully the retextures gives it a new lease on life and lets more people give a try, who otherwise would've been turned off by its outdated textures. Everyone's setup is different than mine, so every and all feedback is welcome; more perspectives, the better. I'm gathering notes and will be working on improving the textures soon.

Would it be possible to get a more scarse look for the bone powder? These piles of powder look kind of like you've put a whole skeleton through a meat-grinder instead of fighting it with a sword :p

Thanks for the suggestion. Check out the new optional file. I've reduced the size from 256x256 to 78x78. Let me know what you think.

Ya that too, what mod is that from and what about this?

The reason I ask is because I don't want that white stuff... I just want the blood. Can you offer instructions for just the blood please?

The link you posted is "bone powder" and it only appears for skeletons. I reduced the frequency of it appearing by having two of the four files be blank. All other undead, such as vampires and bonewalkers get black blood, which is the same as the standard blood, but made darker, as seen here: https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/100/images/44296-0-1463257766.png

If you'd like to remove the "white blood" effect simply make a copy of which ever blood you do like and rename it "_thelys_Blood_White01" and "_thelys_Blood_White02" - both those files still need to exist in some way so Blood & Gore's scripts can function. I'd recommend making a copy of "_thelys_Blood_God01" and "_thelys_Blood_God02" and renaming them for that purpose.
