About this mod

This mod is very simple, it simply adds two castable spells one to Khajiit and one to Argonians. It doesn't alter or remove the current abilities, and doesn't alter the stats either. Mainly granting Khajiit a zero fatigue costing jump spell, and Argonians a much more powerful fatigue costing swift swim spell.

This mod is also partially supposed to compensate for how powerful the enchantments of some boots can be, and the fact the abilities of Khajiit and Argonians don't seem strong enough to compensate for this drawback.

Hence both Khajiit and Argonians now both have one new ability to give them unique mobility advantages. The Khajiit ability isn't as strong as some spells or enchantments that amplify jumping, but this is compensating for by the fact it doesn't require magicka, doesn't require the soul energy present in enchantments, and doesn't require an item to be used. The Argonian ability makes Argonians much better at any underwater activity.

Feline Agility grants you 10+ speed, and 10+ jumping for 10 seconds, at the cost of damaging 75 fatigue, and draining luck by 30 for 20 seconds. Also called 11AKhajiitLeap in the CK.


Aquatic Adaptation grants you 175+ Swift Swimming for 30 seconds, at the cost of damaging 75 fatigue. Also called 11ArgonianAbility in the CK.
Both spells have a 100% success rate, and cost no magicka. I made both abilities consume fatigue for balancing reasons, both because it makes sense to me beast races would consume fatigue to use their special abilities, and so you at least have to use a tiny bit of strategy when using them. Especially for the Khajiit jump ability, on top the already existing abilities, I worried a just all out passive jump ability could possibly be a little bit overpowered, so I made it a spell that consumes fatigue instead.

You can use Feline Agility to get around faster, explore vertically, or escape, but just like an actual cheetah can become exhausted after going at top speed, you too will be weakened, and it's probably a bad idea to abuse/overuse this ability during combat just as intended. I decided to make it about half as effective as Tinur's Hoptoad, as I wanted it to be useful, but not so powerful it would just all out replace Tinur's Hoptoad. I made the Argonian swift swim magnitude 175, because it's a very situational ability, and it seems fast enough that you'll notice it- fast enough to outrun slaughterfish from my testing, but slow enough that it won't cause software problems.
