Your textures look absolutely great, and I'm torn between them and Tyddy's, since I'm trying to keep a vanilla look. Very hard choice :/. I noticed the trim11 and trim12 textures looked quite pixellated, is this an issue you are aware of ?

I prefer yours tbh, they have better continuity with Skyrim Dwemer styles.

I like this retexture more than Tiddy's tbh. Yours creates a much better continuity with Dwemer architecture in Skyrim.

Also Tiddy's is *so* high res that it almost feels out of place in the game, even when using a lot of other HD texture mods.

Has anyone else seen these retextures combined with this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/51358 "Darknuts Lighted Dwemer Towers" ( Requires "Glow in the Dahrk" https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/45886 ) it looks so good at night omg. I also recommend "True Lights and Darkness" https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/39605 the interiors will look way better.

Nice inspiration you took from ESO and Skyrim! :). but there is something "weird" with most walls/corridors (tubes) textures, is like they are so high quality that when you look them from a "medium" distance they look blured, even worst if you do it from further distances, this doesn't happen i you are very closer to them; they look fine, you can see the details of the texture because there is no blure at all.

I recommend to overwrite "Full Dwemer Retexture" with this mod, because adds some new textures this mod forgot like this 2 "green neon rock":
ex_dwrv_ruin30 &light_dwrv_neon01 . And more that i don't even know if they look better haha,
An optional change could be using the texture corridors from "FDR" because they look better imo and don't have blur problems, sadly i'm having problems finding the right file names in the console and in the texture folders....

thats because you dont have antistropic filtering on, this is an engine quirk (that all engines have actually) and not an issue with the textures.

Is this compatible with The Dwemer Rebirth Project?

    Hi there !

All your textures (and your cities redone) are fantastic !

However I have a French copy of Morrowind : do you think your retex ans cities redone can work with a french version ? (I know for example than things like Tamriel Rebuilt don't work, but the heads redone by Mackom worked so ...)

Ty for your time and your work, you're a real artist

EDIT : bought it on steam for a good price :]

This retexture is really high quality and still remains true to the original design, it is beyond beautiful, thank you so much for your efforts in creating such amazing textures!

Beau-ti-ful to say the least. I was never a fan of Darknut's retextures, honestly (he also did some Dwemer stuff). This really brings those ruins back to life, symbolically speaking.

Edit: Can I ask why you included tx_metal_iron_rusty.dds? It's conflicting with Real Reflective Weapons - Iron.

I have a lot of respect for old modders and I was personally using Westly's Dwemer Replacer prior to this but they start to show their age after a while and it's important that as we make strides in restoring Morrowind (open MW, MGE, etc..) that we keep the game looking up to date as well. So I understand where you're coming from and appreciate the sentiment.

Tx_metal_iron_rusty is used on some of the tables and steel dwemer kegs. If it's messing with your reflective, weapons, feel free to use the original, but it might effect the objects i mentioned.

Wonderful job with these! I'd be happy to see a retexture of the creatures and armor as well..

I recently started a new Morrowind game after discovering MGSO; I'm about level 4, so I just finished my first Dwemer ruin. Your textures are amazing, even compared to the MGSO improvements. I will definitely be trying this. And since I just arrived in Ebonheart and am headed for Vivic next, I'll be sure too look at your other retextures too. (I can already tell that your fort textures put MGSO to shame.)

It's so nice to see that even after all this time, there are still people creating beautiful work to improve this classic game. (I thought about trying morroblivion or skywind, but I LOVE levitation. I still haven't fogiven Bethesda for getting rid of it.)

Thanks Elf Lady. I'm not a MGSO user myself, but I've had many years to pick and choose the textures, meshes and improvements I think fit with my own tastes. I think you'll find a lot of talented people still modding Morrowind because it holds a very special place on their hearts and shelves in terms of the impression and memories it made.

Contributing to the preservation/restoration of Morrowind is the least I can do for what's it's done for me.

I went with MGSO because it seemed to be a good base to start from. And it is; it also has the benefit of including some excellent mods that aren't available for download anymore. But the downside is that since it hasn't been updated in 3 years, it's missing out on a lot of the really beautiful texture mods that have come out recently - like yours - not to mention the updates to the mods that are still available. But with MGSO as the base and the new-and-improved textures installed over it, my Morrowind game is really gorgeous.

Thanks again for all your hard work!
