Lore-Friendly Balmora Suran and Caldera Ground Textures
by Cavanoskus

-----
Introduction:

I got tired of looking for high resolution, lore-friendly ground textures for Balmora, so I decided to try my hand at making them. This only replaces two textures and is intended to be used with Lougian's wonderful Landscape Retexture (http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/42575/?).

The textures in question are tx_wg_road_01.dds, which is used in most of Balmora and all of Suran, and tx_wg_cobblestones_01.dds which is used in Caldera and the richer area of Balmora. I tried very hard to stay close to vanilla colors, so they should look all right with most texture replacers that stay near to vanilla.

-----
Manual Installation:

1. Open Morrowind\Data Files\Textures and look for two files:
- tx_wg_road_01.dds
- tx_wg_cobblestones_01.dds

2. If these files already exist, move them to your desktop or otherwise back them up in case you don't like mine.

3. Unzip my mod anywhere and drop the .dds files into your Morrowind\Data Files\Textures. I recommend installing them on top of Lougian's.

4. Play.

-----
Uninstallation:

1. Open Morrowind\Data Files\Textures and delete the following files:
- tx_wg_road_01.dds
- tx_wg_cobblestones_01.dds

2. Optionally, move your backups of those two files back into Data Files\Textures to overwrite mine.

And please let me know, I'd love to see what you did with it.
