Absolutely gutted this drops me down to 1 FPS. This mod looks like it'd be awesome with my massive setup if it worked for me. I've tried all of the ones with the least likely chance of FPS loss and yet I get frozen at 1 fps regardless of the low fps raindrop.nif recommendation I choose. I hate seeing this faded black rain crap effect that's been prominent since I installed apel's retexture of rain. To be fair, not even sure if it IS Apel's causing it, no clue on this one. But as I say, even with that gone and this mod in it's place, it just becomes unplayable. Damn...
EDIT: Never mind, I found a combo that worked. My version of RainDrop.nif was 1.5
