1. INSTALLING THE PLUGIN

*****************************************************************

To install the plugin, unzip the files into the Morrowind/Data Files
directory.

*****************************************************************

2. PLAYING THE PLUGIN

*****************************************************************

To use this mod check the box next to the Pelagiad Guard Tower Home.esp file in the Data Files menu of your Morrowind launcher.

This mod allows the player to obtain a home located, oddly enough, in the town of Pelagiad. The cell for this home replaces the base-game cell, "Pelagiad, Guard Tower".

There are no special requirements to obtain access to this home. The previous owner has disappeared. Presumably they arranged for a "tower-sitter" to look after the place, and everyone is just assuming you're that person? So nobody is going to bother you about moving in, or even comment on it.

(That's because it's completely unremarkable for some random adventurer to move into a prime little tower with a neat garden and a great view located right in the center of town, where anyone would love to live. It's absolutely not because I didn't want to clutter the mod up with a bunch of quests, or dialogue, or any of that tedious stuff. Yup!)

To get into the house, you can steal a key from inside Fort Pelagiad, or you could check to see if there's a way into the tower by other means. Then, there's a key somewhere inside the tower you can use. So, if you can manage to get inside, you can unlock the main door and won't have to use the super secret entrance all the time! Unless you want to be cool like that, that's fine too.

To travel directly to the new home, please use the following command:

coc "Pelagiad, Decommissioned Guard Tower"

3. PLUGIN FEATURES

*****************************************************************

The home has the following features:

** Alchemy, Scroll, and Potion Sorters: These sorters will sort Morrowind and/or Tribunal and Bloodmoon ingredients, scrolls, and potions. They are located in the "Pelagiad, Decommissioned Guard Tower: Stockades" cell. To use the sorters, please activate them while sneaking.

They're pretty clearly labeled. A person smart enough to download this awesome house mod and use it will figure it out in no time flat, I'm sure!

(Please note, the sorters have a capacity of zero. To place any items into them, you must use the Sorter functionality.)

---

** Alchemy Desorter(s): A shelf in the Stockades cell has several scrolls which act as a convenient way to draw out any and all Morrowind/Tribunal/Bloodmoon ingredients used to make the following potions from the Ingredient Storage:

-- Restore Health

-- Restore Fatigue

-- Cure Common Disease

-- Restore Magicka

-- Feather

-- Levitation

-- Water Breathing

-- Fire shield

-- Fortify Strength

-- Invisibility

The scripts used for this take into account your Alchemy skill. Any ingredients listed for the above potions found in "The Alchemists Formulary" will be removed from storage and added to the player inventory provided your base skill in Alchemy is > 5. All others will be removed and added once your Alchemy skill is great enough to actually see the effect on the ingredient itself.

---

** Scripted Teleportation: There is a teleport "amulet" found inside the cell, "Pelagiad, Decommissioned Guard Tower: Quarters" which can be used to teleport back to the top of the tower from anywhere in the game world.

Please note, this "amulet" is particularly useful for the relatively mundane purpose of raising your Acrobatics, as it allows you to jump from the tower, then quickly teleport back to the top after falling.

---

** Locking Desk: The desk located in the Stockades cell can be locked by activating it while sneaking. If activated normally (not while sneaking) then the desk acts as a normal container. Oh, there's not a key to it, so you'll need to pick it open or use a spell the first time.

---

** A fun enchanted item: The "Belt of Daedelan Flight" located in the Quarters cell is a fun little toy you can use to help yourself get around the island or into/out of trouble.

---

** Companion friendly Tower navigation: There are a few "buttons" located near the entry and exit doors of the home. There are in place to make it easier to move around the Tower when you have companions in tow. Nothing fancy - just really, really tiny teleport doors.

4. Save Games

*****************************************************************

This plugin should not invalidate your old saved games. If you remove the
plugin from a game already in progress, you will have to click through
all those error messages. However, you should be able to continue on afterward.

**Note: As a rule, you should backup all your saves before using this or any
other plugin, as a precaution against any strange error you might encounter.

*****************************************************************

5. Known Issues/Conflicts

*****************************************************************

-- This mod may conflict with anything that makes changes to
Pelagiad ( 0, -7 ) or to the "Pelagiad, Guard Tower" cell doors.

-- Note that if you have anything in the "Pelagiad, Guard Tower"
cell, you will want to remove it before enabling this mod,
as it replaces that cell with a new one.

-- The Alchemy Desorter may not sort the correct ingredients
for a given potion if you use a mod which changes the
effects on alchemy ingredients.
