    So this not only stops NPCs from greeting you but also stops the comments they make about their own things?
    Things like "There's someone watching me, I can tell". Right?

      not compatible. Just like any other mod that requires MWSE.

    For the most part this works as described. i just noticed that it isn't really compatible with djangos idle talk. there just is no idle chatter at all with this mod active sadly...

    If it's doable, I'd like to request a version that initiates greetings only when you click on the NPC, with no conversation window appearing until after the NPC has turned around and finished their greeting. That way you won't miss greetings from clicking too fast, and you won't be having NPCs say their greeting after the conversation is over.

      It's doable, I did some testing. There are bugs. For a example it does not work with walking NPCs.

      Ah, glad to hear it's possible for the most part. Thanks for testing it. Most (named) NPCs are stationary, so I'd be fine with using the "stare with crosshair" method for walkers if that bug can't be rectified.

    I still get them responding to me as I walk by and I don't see this mod in the data files, though i have it downloaded and activated on the Vortex, am I missing something?

      That's because Vortex is a broken pile of garbage. Use MO2 or Wrye Mash instead.

    NPC's don't talk anymore at all. MWSE is up to date and tested on vanilla setup...

      I've noticed the same issue with NPCs in Seyda Neen... they just didn't greet me at all. Waiting for 72 hours in a cell without NPCs seems to have fixed the issue, though.

    The mod works as shown but it makes it very hard to pickpocket NPCs because they will almost never give you any time to actually stand behind them before they turn around, and it involves a lot of weird trial and error to get behind an NPC undetected before they can turn around and greet you. I don't know if it's possible or if you want to bother at this point, but maybe make it so NPCs don't greet you if you're sneaking? Or maybe if you're behind them?

      This has nothing to do with this mod. Detection is broken in the game. When you sneak behind an NPC with sneaking skill at 100 you still will be detected.

    I have the latest MGE XE and MWSE build, and yet this version of the mod is totally broken. NPCs don't greet me, even when I'm staring them in the face from two inches away. The older version of the mod worked just fine, so what happened with this one?

      You dont need MWSE if you use MGE XE
