I love this! I love how it sticks to how the nix-hounds are described in-game with the purple mandibles. I love using PeterBitt's Nix-Hound Replacer mod. But man, I wish it had the purple mandibles, too!

Thanks! PeterBitt's Nix Hound mandibles are already purplish enough I think.

Is it? I guess my eyes are growing old on me. LOL! Or I need new glasses. xD Thank you for the response. I appreciate it. Once again, I love your works!

I did an alternately named version of your model so that it's compatible with the blighted animal replacer. Thought about releasing it but I wanted to get your permission first. Unless you want me to upload it so you can release it as a bonus model on your fix hound mod's page. Entirely up to you.

Thanks! I guess it would make more sense to release it here as an optional file.

Nice idea and well done! Now the only thing that remains to be fixed is the mesh itself... The nix-hound is one ugly son of a (nix-)b&@*$, and it needs a new mesh so badly. Maybe one day I will be able to do it myself. Or someone converts the amazing Skywind model seen in this video (from 1:15): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMK1ewp2lAk&list=UUwMeA6uYyXr7N11tgBXnn8Q
But this will probably only possible with OpenMW, if at all.

edit: well, apparently Nexus automatically censors a completely correct and scientifically accurate word that means "female dog"... ;-)

Personally, I don't think creatures need higher poly models. Darknuts' textures are enough. The exception being humanoid because lower poly humanoids never look good. Creatures can be low poly and still look good however. Nix hound is no exception IMO.

Great fix! One that is so small but adds so much. Thank you for this

Thank you a lot! You did really great job! I love that you combined the fixes AND fixed the spikes while modifying only the mesh

Tried it and looks really nice. For future updates I would recommend adding files for piratelord's creatures and similar mods, I did some replacements manually and the fact that it doesnt modify texures is a big plus.

Actually, adding something to the Permissions section of this mod's entry would be a really good idea.

    Thanks for uploading!

Cool stuff man! I already had AM's mod included in Morrowind Rebirth, but this would certainly be an improvement! May I have your permission to include it? Let me know, and thanks for your work
