I don't know if the Requirements are visible to everyone, so here they are: you need Morrowind, Bloodmoon, Tribunal

Buildings in the Solstheim region always look so cozy and inviting. Must be the pine trees (and those glowing windows help too!). Thank you for sharing your creation with us, it looks very promising.

And if this is your first house mod? I'm very impressed. I remember my first house mod I attempted to release, it was an utter mess.

This is a fairly nice house mod for Fort Frostmoth, fitting in rather snugly next to the fort. There's plenty of storage space, and a number of services available to the player courtesy of an NPC vendor and trainer. Overall, it's a well-built and generally fine looking Imperial-style house, with no obvious construction errors.

There are, however, three problems that I have with this mod. The first is very easy to fix, and that's the name of the house. The interior is literally called "ACFrostmothPlayerHouse", which is quite frankly terrible for immersion purposes. A name like "Fort Frostmoth Imperial Guest House" or even more simply "Fort Frostmoth, Guest House" would be much more acceptable.

The second issue is the lighting in the house, which uses the default bland Sunlight settings as you can see here. The problem with this is that it makes the house look extremely unattractive on the interior, the lighting is such a bland bright electrical-like sameness that it simply saps the atmosphere of any coziness. I'd recommend tweaking the Sunlight settings for this interior a bit, perhaps to something similar to these settings (note: the fog setting doesn't matter much for simple houses). If we were to look at the interior in-game with these settings, you'd see it looks much better. From this screenshot, you can tell the differences right away, there's a warm splash of yellow on the left and you can clearly see the cozy flickering of candles and the fireplace. It already feels much better than the old lighting settings, no?

As for the third problem, the mod file is contaminated with dirty references and these should really be cleaned out. Generally speaking, dirty references are created when a modder inadvertently saves a change to a particular object reference and ends up changing all of the references of that object in the entire game. These are simple to clean though, and you can use TESPCD, Enchanted Editor, or tes3cmd to clean them out. If you use TESPCD or Enchanted Editor, you can find a tutorial to help you here. For tes3cmd, look to the wiki for command usage.

Other than those three problems I listed, the only thing I'd like to mention is maybe consider adding a little more variety to the house. Currently, you have eight bedrooms in this house, and I can't believe the player has a need for eight bedrooms (even with companions). I'd suggest maybe adding a little variety here and there, like maybe replace one with a display room (some empty tables and shelves) so the player will have space to put their treasures on display, and maybe add a library or full-sized kitchen. Just an idea. Anyway, this is still a pretty good house mod, especially if it's your first Morrowind mod!

    Endorsed.
