All the vanilla Mages Guild members are now T-posing.

A cool and much-needed mod but am not a fan of the massive gravity defying honkers it adds to women when wearing robes.

Never mind, I was thinking of something else.

The texture paths in the Drake's Pride robe meshes from the UFR patch are wrong, the robe will be white on NPCs (doesn't look that bad, actually) and the game crashes when trying to put it on.

Since Moranar hasn't been active for a long time, here are fixed meshes: https://www.dropbox.com/s/72dabgingag83tp/Drakes_Pride_fixed.7z?dl=1

This patch now makes the entire robe white and still returns and error.

      Do you have UFR installed?

Edit: Ok, it doesn't work with UFR - I only checked FMGS - Unique Items Compilation, which includes UFR, and it works with that. I will try to fix it.

Edit2: The problem seems to be that I changed the extension in the texture paths from .bmp to .dds, and because I converted the textures to .dds, it worked. Normally, if the extension is .bmp or .tga, it will also work with .dds. Seems it doesn't work the other way round.

Edit3: Download the fix again. I changed the extensions back to .bmp.

I think this issue can also be remedied simply by changing the load order.  Like I was kinda curious because I had never seen this bug.

With Better Robes loaded after the UFR esp, I spawned a Drake's Pride in the inventory of my female PC and put it on.  I also spawned one in the inventory of a male NPC and forced them to put it on.  Neither issue in either case.  I swapped the order of the plugins and tried the same, and I immediately got a hard crash when I tried equipping it on my PC.  Maybe this is why Moranar never noticed this bug?

Just note that doing this will basically cancel out all of the robe changes in UFR, leaving you with Better Robes meshes and vanilla textures.  If you want to retain the custom models and textures from UFR, you'll need to load the UFR ESP afterwards and also install this patch to avoid the potential crash issue.

This fourm is probably dead but ive been having an issue with a red circle appearing occasionally on NPC's robes right in the center of where the belt is. Im using this mod with the TR patch, better clothes and robe overhaul and im not really sure what the issue is in general

No more flat chested robes lets go POGCHAMP i would recommend using this with robe overhaul, plus i think the master file warning doesn't affect anything

Appears to work fine with Roberts Bodies instead of Better Bodies. This mod is a necessity to fix those unseemly necks on some robes. Although I do get an error before main menu. I assume its looking for BB files. Oh well, will update if I find any major conflicts.

FYI you don't have to active the esp to use this mod, this is good if you don't want compatibility issue especially when play with Tamriel Rebuilt. The disadvantage is that there won't be female version for robes but the improved male mesh itself is already a huge improvement over vanilla.

This is good information to have! It helped me understand what the plugins were actually doing. That said, I believe the patching utility that comes with TR should help to update the TR patch.

PS: There's also an updated patch already available.

    From the Description tab;
"My plugin doesn't change textures, only meshes. So I recommend to use it with this retexture: Better Textures for Robes. http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=6272"

This link is no longer working. Try this link instead:
    http://mw.modhistory.com/download-56-11803

    Extract the Textures ONLY.
DO NOT USE the Meshes from Better Textures for Robes otherwise you will overwrite the Meshes in this MOD.

Great plugin albeit after massaging it with various fixes described in previous posts.

So the Better Robes.esp has been set to have all the main .esm files as parent masters BUT in capital letters thus not finding the masters because they aren't in capital letters, resulting in warnings popping up once the game executable is being launched. So my question is how to change the mod .esp's parent file names to match the current ones with Morrowind?

    Mod parent files:
    MORROWIND.ESM, TRIBUNAL.ESM, BLOODMOON.ESM

    Morrowind parent files:
    Morrowind.esm, Tribunal.esm, Bloodmoon.esm
    EDIT:
I figured it out by downloading Wrye Mash and updating the master file dependencies, no more errors and the mods work just as intented!
