This mod has an additional esp for Tamriel Rebuilt's Sacred East version, which is an older version of TR now. This esp looks for the master file TR_Data.esm, but some time after Sacred East, looks like TR has changed the filename from TR_Data.esm to Tamriel_Data.esm. Although the modder Neoptolemus has been on Nexus as recently as earlier this year, there hasn't been any update to this mod, nor any posts by the modder here either. I haven't used the Construction Kit, but I'm wondering if changing the TR filename within this mod's esp might resolve the issue. If it was going to involve more than that to get it to work, I wouldn't bother. But if that one thing might get it to work, I might try to figure it out. Anyone have any thoughts?
Edit: Tamriel Rebuilt actually provides a utility for this purpose, called TR_FilePatch and it's packaged with their mod, as well as posted here - https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/47060
However, separately from the TR compatibility issue, I don't seem to be able to get this mod to work at all. There aren't any errors related to it, but there are simply no container sounds.
Edit 2: I uninstalled/deleted the mod, then redownloaded/reinstalled, repatched it, reordered it wit mlox, and this time it worked. It may not work with some non-vanilla containers though, for instance, the containers in the Balmora Storage Home https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/45566
Great mod as far as I know (based on what I've read and just the initial idea) but the Tamriel Rebuilt plugin should have a been separate and optional file. I don't use Tamriel Rebuilt so in my plugin list on Nexus Mod Manager it says next to Container Sounds - TR.esp "TR_Data.esm MISSING" and "TR_Mainland.esm MISSING" in red. I don't have patience for troubleshooting. I'm not someone who likes tinkering with complicated mods and all that crap. I hit download and maybe edit some texts files if that's necessary and THAT'S IT. This is not a complicated mod of course but I don't need to be temporarily worried when I see bright red text warning me about some crap. It's stupid to force people who don't use Tamriel Reborn (or Rebuilt, whatever its called) to have that plugin. I know I can just disable it but that should be an OPTIONAL install. Separate from the other file.
Most pleasing mod! The only downside to it is that the TR add-on will often get outdated, as it is now. When loaded with current TR release, the game spews errors pertaining to some containers and their contents.
