*****************************************************************

1. INSTALLING THE PLUGIN

*****************************************************************

To install the plugin, unzip the files into the Morrowind/Data Files
directory.

*****************************************************************

2. PLAYING THE PLUGIN

*****************************************************************

To use this mod check the box next to the Sea Rover Tent.esp file in the Morrowind Launcher Data Files menu. If you are using any of the mods which have compatability addons, please also select those as well.

This mod adds a portable tent home to the game, which the player can find hidden in Tukushapal, Sepulcher. Speak with Ennbjof, a Nord located somewhere in the Telvanni canton of Vivec, for more information.

Using the tent: Find a level, open spot and drop the "Rover's Seabag" onto the ground.

When you are ready to move the tent go into sneak mode and activate the tent to pick it up.

3. FEATURES

*****************************************************************

For thoroughness, an "in-universe" run-down of the following can be found with the tent.

This mod has the following features:

** Portable & Wearable: Carry the tent with you wherever you go! Set it up to enter your new home. Exit and find yourself back where you made camp. Equip the "Rover's Seabag" and carry it all in a lightweight and stylish package!

---

** Customizable Appearance: The mod is packaged with a variety of alternative textures for the floor, entry flaps, and the sides of the tent.

The "Rover's Seabag" will have textures matching your selection for the sides of the tent.

---

** Variable lighting: The tent is darker inside at night, and brighter in the daytime!

---

** Alchemy Sorter: This sorter will sort Morrowind and/or Tribunal and Bloodmoon ingredients. The container for the sorter is a small bag found within the tent labeled, oddly enough, as "Alchemy Bag".

To sort ingredients from the base game, look to the roof of the tent and click on the "Nautical Lantern (Sorter)" hanging there.

To sort Tribunal and Bloodmoon ingedients, click on the rope labeled as "Lantern Rope (Exotic Sorter)" from which the Nautical Lantern is hanging.

Please note, the Ingredient storage container has a capacity of zero. To place any ingredients into it, you must use the sorting activators.

---

** The Alchemy Desorter(s): There is a tray with several scrolls in the tent, which act as a convenient way to draw out any and all Morrowind/Tribunal/Bloodmoon ingredients used to make the following potions from the Alchemy Bag:

-- Restore Health

-- Restore Fatigue

-- Cure Common Disease

-- Restore Magicka

-- Feather

-- Levitation

-- Water Breathing

-- Fire shield

-- Fortify Strength

-- Invisibility

The scripts take into account your Alchemy skill. Any ingredients listed for the above potions found in "The Alchemists Formulary" will be removed from storage and added to the player inventory provided your base skill in Alchemy is > 5. All others will be removed and added once your Alchemy skill is high enough to actually see the effect on the ingredient itself.

---

** Scripted Teleportation: There is a handy ring located in the tent which will allow teleportation back to the tent from your current location. Of course, the tent has to be set up in order to teleport back into it!

---

** Music Player: Included is a special "Ditty box", based on a script from "Music Boxes v.3" by Xiamara, based on the version of the script found in "Ashlander Tent DX" by Gaius Atrius.

It's a very solidly based script.

The script has been altered to allow for the box to act as a standard container, and as an activator for the music menu script.

Activating the box normally will result in the standard container behavior, I.E. It will open, you can remove or add items to the container within the weight limit. If it is activated while the Player Character is sneaking, however, a script will run which allows you to select an .mp3 to play in-game.

Included with the mod is a set of small music files, provided with Xiamara's original mod, for testing purposes. These are to be replaced with the .mp3 files of your choosing.

The music box, being a working container, is a permanent fixture of the tent.

To add your own music, simply rename your .mp3 files to the same filenames as the provided
music files, and put them in the 'DAT_SRT' folder, instead of the originals.

*Warning!*

<>Do NOT<> replace 'Cancel.mp3' with a different file. It is needed to cancel the music.

*Warning!*

Your file structure should look like this:

Data Files/Music/DAT_SRT/
Cancel.mp3
Song1a.mp3
Song1b.mp3
Song1c.mp3
Song1d.mp3
Song1e.mp3
Song1f.mp3
Song1g.mp3
Song1h.mp3

Note: The script has been changed, and the MP3s have unique filenames, so this mod
is/should be compatible with Xiamara's original mod, if you want to use it.

---

** Expanded Storage: There is a "Chest of Holding" found inside the tent with ample room for a wide variety of items.

*****************************************************************

4. Alterations from Base Game

-- Addition of Rising force potion (quality) to the cell "Tukushapal, Sepulcher"

-- Addition of Global script "A1_DAT_SRT_SetNightTimeScript"

-- Addition of various other scripts related to mod functionality

*****************************************************************

5. Save Games

*****************************************************************

This plugin should not invalidate your old saved games. If you remove the
plugin from a game already in progress, you will have to click through
all those error messages. However, you should be able to continue on afterward.

**Note: As a rule, you should backup all your saves before using this or any
other plugin, as a precaution against any errors you might encounter.

*****************************************************************

6. Known Issues/Conflicts

*****************************************************************

-- The Alchemy Desorter may not work properly with mods that alter ingredient effects.

-- Light sources may be left-over after striking tent. These disappear after cell-change.

-- Occasional CTD when exiting tent. May be related to an engine bug involving messageboxes.

-- Slow load when exiting tent. This is related to cells added by other mods.
A selection of mods have a compatiblity addon included in this archive.
Of note, the various Tamriel Rebuilt mods do not at this time have a patch.
I will attempt to address this in any future releases.

*****************************************************************

7. Revisions

*****************************************************************

Version 1.0

-- Inital Release Version

*****************************************************************

8. Cleaning a Save

*****************************************************************

-- Make a back-up save

-- Remove all items you wish to keep from the tent cell. Exit the tent and save.

-- In the Morrowind Launcher, unselect the Sea Rover Tent.esp

-- Enter game, click through the errors, save your game, and exit the game again.

*Optional but recommended: Clean your save using Wrye Mash*

9. Credits

***Special Credit Section***

Aragon and dongle! This mod is a combination of their works: Ranger Tent Carry-able home by dongle, and Ashlander Tent by Aragon.

Aragon -- The bulk of the scripting in this release are modifications of the scripting from the "Ashlander Tent" mod. The compatability patches are also Aragon's work, suitably modified to work for this mod.

dongle -- Models are from his "Ranger Tent Carry-able home" mod, with (Nif-Scope) modifications by myself to allow them to work in this mod. The textures are color-manipulated and re-named versions of his textures from the same mod. As dongle would have wished, I take full credit (blame?) for my altered versions of his resources.

Big thanks to both of these individuals! This mod would not be possible without their work.

****

Bethesda Morrowind Team -- For making a game that's kept me interested and entertained since 2002.

Coodiak -- Model for the Rover's Seabag, with slight cleanup and UV map alterations by me.

Despair -- Alchemy Sorter script, modified for this mod.

Gaius Atrius -- Modified version of Music Box Script.

Ghanburigan, Yacoby, Melian -- Morrowind Scripting for Dummies, an invaluable aid.

Jac -- The global script controlling the day/night lighting in the tent is his scripting.

Nicholiathan -- Desorter script, also modified.

Princess Stomper -- Inspiration, cell lighting settings.

Qwert -- Editing the "Pocket Dimension Home" is what got me started using the TESCS.

UESP.Net -- The information here on modding kept me from making several stupid mistakes.

Wrye -- for his invaluable MASH program.

Xiamara -- Music Box sound files, scripting concept.

*****************************************************************

Any bugs should be reported to me as soon as possible.
You can PM me on the official forums.

This mod may be posted on other sites, provided that the site owner contacts
me for permission or I send it to him/her, and that this readme file is included in the archive.

Enjoy, and thank you for using my mod!

** Of note: The placement of the tent is no coincidence, and is loosely based upon the findings of the Oseberg viking ship, which contained two different types of tent frames similar in design to the tent featured in this mod.
For more information, search for "Oseberg Ship" or go to
http://archive.org/details/osebergship00brog

to view a small e-book on the find.
