I hope this is ok to post here (let me know if not & I'll delete it!).  I just uploaded a mini mod that gives the essences & potions new bottle meshes with updated textures / icons >   Updates to Tealpanda's Alchemy Essentials

I added a Plus version that includes my fix for the alexandrite & tektite meshes.  My fix changes the meshes / textures / icons completely (be warned).  If you don't want the bottles, you can change the name of the texture files and the mesh files for the gems to match tealpanda's names, move them to her folders & overwrite what's there.  My icons however are .dds not .tga so those won't work without an ESP or converting them to .tga files.

The RAR folder could probably use some reorganizing, to make it clear which sub-folders you need for which ESPs. For instance, if you only want the retextured apparatuses...apparati?...then you only need the "TAE apparatus retexture" ESP, the icons and some of the meshes in the "M" sub-folders, and the textures that don't start with "Qbubbles" or "teal_patt".

Two of the three textures for   alexandrite   are missing.  Here's how I fixed the yellow blob if alexandrite is placed outside a container :
    In the   Data Files   folder
     - in   Textures   folder   copied   tr_ing_tektite.dds   and renamed the copy as  tr_ing_alexandrite.dds
     - in   Meshes/tr/n   folder   copied   tr_ing_tektite_mm.nif   and renamed the copy as   tr_ing_alexandrite_mm.nif
     - left alexandrite icon as is
The alexandrite icon is still distinct, but if placed outside a container it is identical to tektite.  But the yellow blob is gone.
I'd prefer alexandrite textures, but was unable to find them.

Was just thinking about fixing this yesterday and the day before too.
You can make your own textures fairly easily, and apply them using NifScope.
If you do not want to make one on your own:
Simply get one of the textures from the other gems, open it in PaintDotNet (or another free program which has .dds support), then shift the hue, save it as a .dds and adjust it in nifscope if necessary. (or simply edit/save the same copied .dds in this case lol)
      I Love Alexandrite.

Thanks for reminding me to fix this. I remember while I am playing, yet tend to forget once I am out of game.

I ended up choosing Spinel for the .nif mesh since it looks much more like the intended Alexandrite icon. I have edited the texture too using Opal as the base for the edit. It turned out very well.

If this is modular, it's going over my head. Just one ESP.

Shame, this mod had some things I really wanted and others I didn't!

It's more then 1 esp, One will have the full name and then there will be 3 TAE instead of the full name.

Hi! I'm going through my mods with TES3lint to find some issues I've been having and I noticed some of the TAE mods don't have Tribunal/Bloodmoon as masters, leading them to be missing the check for if you're sneaking if you're, for some reason, using Morrowind without expansions.

I can't imagine this ever being a real problem, but here's a sample:

        [EXP-DEP] Expansion Dependency: Tribunal Functions:
        SCPT(TealDPB_Electrum)               getpcsneaking

Unique Jewelry and Accessories-No Ench is also missing these, as well as setscale.

Is there a way to get the older version of this? I can't say I'm a fan of these new retextures, they're smooth but they're even more inconsistent in their look from the old ones. But the apprentice Mortal and Pestle looks far worse then the vanilla game's it's driving me nuts just how bad it looks. I'd like to honestly mash the old and new ones together but I downloaded this just the other day and I don't see a way to get the older looking meshes/files for the alchemy equipment. I would love this mod much more but that apprentice Mortar and Pestle and the pre master's tools that look far more ornate kill these retextures for me. Rest of this is great, I've been looking for stuff that retextures ingredients and other various things and I would love to truly have this in my game but again some of these textures don't make sense or look bad. I first thought my game was broken when I saw an apprentice mortar and pestle and had to look at your shots again just to be certain.

Most mods that change cells will not work with the Polish version of Morrowind, because the names of the cells are different in the Polish version. If you clean the mod of cell references and save it, then you should still be able to add the new items using the console menu. I hope that helps!

Excellent mod, must have everytime I install Morrowind. Only problem I have is that the Apprentice Mortar & Pestle doesn't even have textures while everything else is correctly textured and meshed.

Anyway, I endorsed the mod because it is a must have.

The Apprentice Mortar & Pestle is an esp-less mesh replacer. It references the original textures in the game. It should look fine when installed.
Glad you're enjoying the rest of the mod!
