Mod is working as intended, then. It might be worth going through and pruning out some stuff that doesn't really work right in the download. It's been so long since I've seriously taken a look it's hard to say what the results will be.
I believe this mod tried to add the effect to every window the imperial set uses but there's definitely some errors with the effect:
The missing texture is from Ex_Nord_Win_01.nif and it is calling for missing texture TX_Glass_Reena_01.dds, there are a few options..
1) Find wherever this window came from. 2) Find a window texture from another mod or texture pack and rename it TX_Glass_Reena_01.dds (Must be a glass texture) 3) Make your own and name it as above 4) Delete EX_Nord_Win_01.nif
Option 2 is probably the easiest, Option 1 is the best.
Directories for NIF and Textures: .NIF is in: \Data Files\Meshes\R TX is in: \Textures\
Other than that, it's a great mod.. It came right on time as I was looking at windows and really wanted to see some more detail on the glass or a faux reflection or something.. this mod does that.
I didn't find the missing texture in Windows Glow 2.2 as shared by Tanuith, but did find it in Abot and Spirithawke's 1.1 expansion to it http://mw.modhistory.com/download--14989
But i'm getting warnings: TES3Stream Warning: Model MeshesxEx_nord_win_01.NIF tex not found tx_glass_reena_01.dds! Texture Load Error!: tx_glass_reena_01.dds TES3Stream Warning: Model MeshesxEx_nord_win_02.NIF tex not found tx_glass_reena_01.dds!
I'm getting the same errors. I found that by deleting the .nif files (actually i just copied them somewhere else) fixed the issue for me. Don't get the benefit of the shiny windows in nord style places, but whatever. at least i can play the game.
