Thank you so much, your mod is the only insta kill and stealth mod for openmw.

Does this mod make sneaking easier or harder?

I can't seem to figure out how this mod handles sneak level ups. From what I gathered, you have to get xp in the modified level? (ie if you're normally sneak 15 but modified 20, you have to earn enough xp from 20 to 21 rather than 15 to 16). Is this correct?

I'd like to know this as well. I can't track the xp gains at all, so I think I'm gonna just disable this mod for now. Edit: After looking more into it. From the way it seems like the mod is altering sneak levels, I think it does affect how much xp you need to level. Because the mod isn't fortifying/draining stealth, I believe it's directly changing the value of the skill on your character.

It works fine with no problems, but I am still not doing great with sneaking and pickpocketing. This is the only sneaking mod I can find that I can actually download, can anyone recommend me a sneaking mod or a thief mod that can still be downloaded?

the problem of yours is that simple; you must determine you role-play pal, not one can be one at the same time, simply put when you role-play you must have a weakness to it; just like in real life, no one can be a doctor, a politician, a fireman, a teacher, a prime minister, a mangaka, at same time in your life. in role-playing game, became overpowered charater is kinda...dumb actually because there is no challenge at all, what the point of role-play then?
short answer; pick Thief class that give you more Agility with Major Skill as Sneak skill; do thieves guild early & of course, this is role-playing game so expect save-scumming a lot.

There are lots of them available on Morrowind Modding History, it's an archive of many older mods. Though generally, mods make sneaking harder rather than easier since it's pretty easy in the vanilla game. Might just be your character needs practice and/or a chameleon spell. (I know the comment is old, but in case anyone else had a similar question thought I'd respond- you don't usually get results from Morrowind Modding History on Google even when a mod there is exactly what you need). I recommend the Thief Experience Overhaul if you want something specific, but again it actually makes things a bit more challenging not less.

How does this work with being unarmored? At level 5 do you get a +1 bonus for as you do in light armor?
