I love Morrowind, too. I played the Xbox version (not GotY) for hours, every night, for months. That was before I modded the Xbox and started checking out the GotY version and all the mods I could use with it. By the way, most PC mods work on the Xbox.
Now, this is my first mod, not counting some hex editing I did a couple years ago, and I was mostly just figuring out how to add my own objects to the game. I have that figured out, but I want to make my own models next, and I hope to replace the amulet in this mod with something more unique, perhaps some new armor meshes.
As for a theme, no, this does not have a theme. It was made as a simple home, nothing more. However, my next mod, once I figure everything out, will have a theme, and I cannot comment on what it will be until I know what all I can accomplish.
If you want to help me figure everything out, that will help greatly, but I really do want to try to do all my work myself. That's what makes modding fun after all. If you think you could help me a lot with the scripting, though, we could still discuss our talents and what we want to make. This house mod is a learning experience, and I plan to add onto it, just to figure out how to properly release a Morrowind mod and updates to it.
Most housing mods I've seen do very well have at least a few of these qualities:
Lots of custom content (Models) At least 1 unique and/or well done companion NPC Totally amazing landscaping Non-conflicting location (There are next to no housing mods for the eastern sea... ) Some kind of insanely mad scripting (lol... Madmax's UGalleon) Portability (That ashlander yurt mod has become a must for me) Something so cool that I cannot think of it to put on this list.
The two things they all have in common though, are a theme of some kind, and some use other than just a home.
My Morrowind scripting is a little rusty. I could however be willing to offer my services as a scripter, depending on what you want done. I cannot do anything based of Madmax's galleon, it is copyrighted XD
