Actually, the Master Index has only 3 weight, while the full set of indices has 20 weight. And you can still put your Mark in the Caldera Mages Guild, which is also useful for seeing Creeper.
Although it would be better if it made a pop up that let you choose to go to Caldera or the next propylon chamber.
