Heeeelllo. Just letting everyone who'll undoubtedly be having problems today know that there was an update that included some new weapons. So yay! Except it broke this mod, and probably many others. Fortunately, this mod has been remade for the update, but you'll have to redownload it and replace/merge with 00.dat now, as opposed to data1.dat as you did previously. This applies to some other mods too (they go in 00.dat now it seems). On a positive note, you have some new toys to play with in-game, and fittingly, I've now added an infinite ammo and infinite item variant to help you out with that
EDIT 10/19/15: Fixed again for the new October 19 update. On a side note, if you're Canadian, today's federal election day! So please, please, please, please, if you're a registered voter, go and vote! If you're not a registered voter, go and register, and then vote! And then come back home and check out the new update.

Hey, just installed the new update. The icon shows it's infinite again but I don't think it actually works just tested it with a Riot UZI. With the suppressor "unequipped" the weapon was still suppressed, and after a few bursts it broke. Not sure what's going on there.
Darn. Well I'll look into it when I get home. What I would do is just throw the .lua into the other .dat's as well (data1.dat and 01.dat) and see if that gets it going. If someone could test that for me in my absence, I'd be very grateful. Thanks.
EDIT: It works for me. If I might take a guess as to your problem, did you start out the game already in the field? Go back to the ACC and re-deploy and see if that fixes it for you.
You'll need the QAR tool to unpack the .dat and access the folders. It's not for extracting like .rar's and .zip's like most downloads. You can find the tool on the Nexus. MGSV QAR Tool. If that's what you were using, then I'm not sure :/ Sorry.
Yea, after this last update, I am not getting any folders at all, I just created them and it seems to have worked for the DLC unlocker and base update thing. But yea.
That's odd. Was there anything in your 00.dat at all though? Before adding anything? The most important thing is that your 00.dat works and isn't missing actual official content of course.
A bunch of 271 files, a mix of fpkd, fpk, lua, dat and pftxs. The lua files are just mixed letters and numbers like 1ba0964e01e5d.lua, 2cf33829ffd01.lua. Would it maybe be because I deleted the dictionary.txt file? One of the other mods said that, that limits what files gets extracted, and that with that file it will not extract the full data1.dat file(before this update)
Hey, I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to combine this with infinite suppressors. Can you help me out with this? Clearer instructions or just the new file would both be greatly appreciated.
Whoops, I think you posted on the wrong mod. This IS the mod for infinite suppressors. But tell me which mod you're trying to merge this with and I might be able to help!
Love the mod and thanks for the updates. I do have a question though. Will I run into any problems just using the old .lua files? I've been doing that for all my mods and have yet to run into any issues. Are they actually updating anything that this mod affects? (Obviously you can't speak for my other mods).
Possibly, yes. If you use the infinite items part, then yes definitely, I've noticed new entries throughout the updates that weren't there before. As for infinite ammo or suppressors, that .lua is way too huge and there are too many values to change for me to notice if anything has been added. But if it works for you, I doubt you'll run into problems. As for other mods, there certainly ARE mods that do actually edit files official updates also update, so just be careful.

Would be hot if there was some kind of middle ground here. Like an option to have suppressors last twice or 4x or whatever longer than the stupid vanilla length. Anyone know how to just do it? I'm okay with rudimentary Lua, but I'm not sure what these .dat files are and how we're supposed to make them. (I"m very green at this particular game, much less modding it).

Unfortunately your mod seems to conflict with the new Goblin suits and will crash the game on the loadout/gun customization screens if online. I'm loathe to skip on it since I'm very much fond of it but unless that's fixed it's a no-go.
Thanks for updating it though, your effort is noted and much appreciated. Hope to see it fixed in the near future.
