The second version cleaner (literally less dirt) and slightly brighter colours than vanilla that they match Snake's colours more. The original DD soldier outfits look really scuffed if you open them in a photo editor. And they are also sometimes much less vibrant than Snake's even though they are based around the same designs.
Good catch, the Soldier Variation Outfits image was wrong. I've updated the file description so it should point to the correct image now. Thanks for checking

I use "Vanilla" option but animal i definitely would replace.
