Hmm, is there anyway to install this without using the .mod file? Like a manual way? I've already installed ALOT and I could've sworn I installed this mod but I guess that I didn't and now when I got to instal it thru the Mod Maker I get " An assembly with the same simple name 'Gibbed.IO Version 1.0.61.21.22568, Culture=neutral . PublicKeyToken=null has already been imported. Try removing one of the referances or sign them to enable side by side. Now I know I didn't install this before because I've never used ModMaker in ME3Explorer before. Would it work if I just installed the .tpf thru the ALOT installer? I love the mod through and appreciate you give EDI some clothes lol
Great mod idea! One thing though, could you perhaps use the modified EDI model used by Ottemis to remove the cameltoe issue? (http://www.nexusmods.com/masseffect3/mods/273/?) Something that really bothers me, and really makes me wonder how old the designers at Bioware are...
A minor thing to note: I found that, upon installing through me3explorer 653 108w both 'new head' and 'new casual outfit', the skin-portion of the outfit would still be grey. Updating the .mod-file for the human neckline here and then running that .mod in Mod Maker worked, though. Might be worth adding that to the description.
*Edit: Forgot to mention, I did install the no-visor mesh as well, in the order suggested in the instructions. Using the human neckline-.mod after did apply the skin-texture properly, as mentioned.
You don't need this mod any more for Edi's new head. I included the outfit with human skin in the other mod. This mod is only for people who want to keep Edi's original head but want to use the new casual outfit.
Apologies, and maybe I'm just doing something wrong with ME3Explorer, but whenever I try installing your mod and then play the game, I get the "Unable to authorize DLC" or "DLC is missing" error. My ME3 is played through Origin if that makes any difference.
Nope, that's expected to happen anytime you install permanent texture replacements or mesh mods on DLC packages. WarrantyVoider created a replacement .dll file so that the DLC authorization pop-up does not occur.
Note: It is possible to still get [DLC is corrupted] issues from time to time. If that happens, it is more than likely *not* a fluke, and not the fault of the crack .dll. A mod installation went wrong somewhere. Revert ME3 to vanilla and try again.
I cannot seem to get either of the two mesh replacers for EDI's head and body to work on DLC content. Both the AAP head and the combat simulator version of EDI refuse to change meshes. My problem appears to be similar to Chasan's but, the latest version did not fix the problem.
Unfortunately the latest version *is* the problem. It can apply basegame mesh replacements just fine, but any DLC mesh replacement instructions scripted before version 623 are going to be problematic if installed on that version or above.
Interestingly, I was able to get the meshes working properly by replacing the code in the .mod with code from the other EDI head mod on the nexus. However the textures are pretty messed up: http://tinyurl.com/khhk4qa I've thoroughly checked texplorer and can't find any of EDI's textures out of place, which is pretty confusing.
I wonder if I will encounter a similar problem with this mod. I've installed it through rev 622, though, so there shouldn't be any.
What if you tried installing the version of the mod you're after with that revision, then retrieving the modded meshes and textures from the DLC and recreating the installation script for the latest rev?
Thanks for the update, installation's a lot easier and went smoothly on my end.
Only one issue: textures of the mesh EDI uses in the combat-simulator appear to be screwy, namely your textures being applied on what looks to be the original default-mesh. It's possible that this is due to me installing on top of Otte's replacement, however, will look and see whether reverting to original Pack003_base.sfar and trying to install again will fix this.
Edit: nope, still persists even then and when applying just the non-skin textures. Not a huge issue at the end of the day, seeing how the arena is pretty much non-essential to the rest of the game :S

Having an issue with the mod. The textures were messed up but installing the tpf's fixed it. The neckline was off but a restart corrected that.
Thanks again.
