If anyone is having trouble installing this, use ME3Explorer 2.0 instead as noted below.

Actually messing with the latest ME3Explorer 3.1.2 files it's possible to make it work without using the old 2.0 version.
When opening ME3Explorer select Mod Maker > Load > downloaded .mod file

In ME3Explorer 3.1.2 (latest) root folder (where ME3Explorer.exe is) copy (but don't move) everything from ME3Explorer root folder to lib folder.
This should solve the issue of not finding necessary files when trying to run the .mod

Also when ME3Explorer offers to convert the .mod the first time you open it say yes. This increases the size from 2KB to 4KB but prevents future popups when opening this .mod with 3.1.2
Also start ME3Explorer from the root folder like normal. No need to run from lib folder where you copied the root folder contents.

I was successfully able to mod EntryMenu.pcc like this to skip the splash screen. Optionally you can use PCC Repacker to compress the modded EntryMenu.pcc file close to the original size. It works regardless if it's compressed or not.

Heads up for others. This mod works with ME3Explorer 2.0, which is the most recent version available here on the nexus: http://www.nexusmods.com/masseffect3/mods/409/?

Not to me. I got the 'Scripting' error as one below has mentioned here.

I tried older version v108 r632. Some trials gave me successful results via debug log, some gave me unsuccessful. At one point, I had to give permission first to all my files, that came up. In the end, I still don't get the skip intro result.

I have tried updating the file as well when it asks me to. I'm quite sure I've tried whatever I can get from the posts here, but I can't get it to work. I don't know what to do anymore lol, please help thanks.

Are you sure you were using ME3Explorer 2.0, and that you clicked "Yes" when prompted to update the mod? Because I just tried that and it worked perfectly.

I tried this on version 109 (rev 653) and it failed like a reaper trying to dance--- horrible. Same result for version 110. HOWEVER I can confirm that the last version of ME3Explorer this seems to work on successfully is rev 631 or version 108w.

    Here it is:
    http://sourceforge.net/projects/me3explorer/files/Versions/Version0108w/Binary_rev632.rar/download
In that revision you add the mod under mod maker,
under the run tab make sure "select PCC's is selected
load the skip splash screen mod.
update it from being ancient mod to current
DO NOT save as current mod (may work- may break- or not)
    select run all
Installs and (doesn't) show up successfully.

The only positve/ironic/thing is that installing version 108w made me have to vanilla my game and then run the tree scan in 108w to extract PCC information. ON THE PLUS side however with version 110 also installed I don't have to vanilla the game after the 108w tree scan to run the 110 tree scan. It seems version 110 reads the PCC extraction information created with version 108w as if 110 had done the extraction itself and just picks up in scanning and then creating its own tree bin.

I don't know if anyone is still watching this, but I tried installing this mod today and couldn't get it to work using the Mod Maker from ME3Explorer r718, downloaded from github.

Before I looked here for help, I tried converting it. That just ran for a long time and did nothing, and after about 15 minutes I canceled it.

Then after seeing WV's message, I tried just hitting "no" when it asked to update the mod, and I got the error "Line: 3 Column: 19 (CS0234) The type or namespace name 'Scripting' does not exist in the namespace 'ME3Explorer' (are you missing an assembly reference?)". I hit OK, and the Mod Maker completed the job and said "All Mods Installed!" but when I run the game, it does not skip the "press any key to continue" screen.

The Mod Maker log is here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_fgglByyirbT3BqcklJenFfZ1E/view?usp=sharing

This mod is apparently 'old and unsupported' by the current version of ME3Explorer. It also doesn't seem to be able to update itself to work with the new method. Any chance you can see if you can get it working with the new ME3Explorer revision?

Yep, just tested it and works great.

Hopefully, I remember to endorse since Nexus won't let me atm saying I must wait 15 minutes after downloading mod before endorsing, lol, lame.

Is there a way to use it without struggling with ME3Explorer?

reversing the mod and applying it with hexeditor, maybe?!... I could upload the entire file, but that would remove any other mod applied to that file, so thats why you have to use ME3Explorer, otherwise mods would overwrite each other and simply crash the game. Also you cant simply copy files in, the filetable has to be updated aswell, again something the .mod file does for you automatically. (autotoc and dlctocupdater do this update task manually btw)
