Well, you can't. There are almost no tools official or unofficial, except those made by Sluicer. And files from different games are incompatible. So, its down to hex editing, text editing, texture replacements and lots, lots of fakery. Anything model-specific is very painful to mod. Texture replacements are easier, game uses dds file format in nxg_texture containers. There can be one or several ddses in those, but they aren't packed, so you can cut and paste those with hex editor. Text editing is, obviously, pretty easy, when you get the hang of it, and you can make a lot of changes that way, even different items and abilities. Another catch is that the game indexes everything, and those index files have priority over unpacked ones. But in most cases you can just blank index files or even delete them and this will go unnoticed.
Although I like being able to play as Batman, I feel like as a character he is very underpowered. He should be able to open panels seeing as he is as smart as Iron Man. I think he should have some kind of gliding ability like Mr. Fantastic. Also explosive batarangs for silver objects would be nice. These are just some suggestions but I am enjoying the mod as it is right now, along with the other mods you make. They are fantastic.
I also suggest maybe a custom skin for Hawkeye's Sky Cycle turning into a Dark Knight style Batcycle
