So i really loved what you did with the Handmaiden in the screenshots. However, that is not how my Handmaiden ended up looking like. So the cutscene where she steals the Ebon Hawk was the first giveaway something was wrong. Appeared to have no textures loaded and was a gleaming white with no detail. this was the same for her head model, but she also had a fully textured head phasing through the untextured head. Both heads animations were slightly out of sync, so that's how I was able to tell she had two heads. I just reinstalled the mod and forgot about it and thought I'd deal with it at the Telos Academy.
In the academy cutscene though,I couldn't see any of the Handmaiden Sisters however. The Handmaiden was still her untextured two headed self. Sure enough all the Handmaiden Sisters are now invisible and as you can imagine, starting a conversation with any of them crashes my game. So it went from a visual bug to a game breaking one.
I've tried rerunning the patcher, removing the appearance.2da file and reinstalling everything, removing the files from the TSLPATCHER file that are in the override file and revalidating the files through Steam (oh and I'm running the Steam version of Kotor 2 by the way). Pretty much everything I could think to do with my limited modding knowledge. Any advice would be very appreciated. I'd rather not have to do a fresh install and start over. Besides, not knowing what has caused this conflict could cause it to happen again :/
Hey, so in order to get this working with oldflash's hood-down handmaiden if you're not interested in a full install of his mod, you'll need to:
1) Copy line by line every change he made to appearance.2da for handmaiden 2) Copy every file that starts with p_hand in his mod to your override 3) Remove his handmb01.tga and 4) Rename this mod's handmb.tga to handmb01.tga
This is a great mod but the instructions in the mod download suggest you can just copy two files from his mod and get full compatibility, that is not accurate.
