My galaxy map looks different from that picture, but I have the mod installed. For me, Peragus is in the bottom left. Is the mod not working?

As the screenshot says: The planet placement is from the "TSL Galaxy Map Fix" mod.
But if you are far enough in the game that you see the galaxy map you should have seen the improved star fields by now. If those are present, then the mod is working.

It could be that another mod (M4-78 EP does that for example) has overwritten my 003ebo models, yes. That's what was causing the animation to fail for Steam users of my mod.

In that case you could fix it by making sure that my 003ebo models are used and not the ones from M4-78 EP or whatever other mod replaced them.
That still doesn't explain why deleting my textures works though.

Holy Moose! Issue fixed. That was the problem exactly. Thanks for the help. It would have been a shame to not be able to use this great mod to its fullest extent.

How does one do that, exactly? I used Steam workshop for that, too, and my hyperspace is broken. How do I make your hyperspace be the correct one?

The short answer is: Don't use the workshop. That generally makes mod compability much easier.
However, in this case you should be able to fix that by installing my mod into TSLRCM/M4-78s workshop folder instead of into the main TSL folder. See this guide for more details: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=488641307

i'm having the same issue. Weirdly enough, it was when i removed the files starting with leh_hyper that the animations worked for me. i was able to leave the 003ebo files in the override folder.

Strange. Those are the textures but I don't see how they'd break the animations as all animations are model animations... I guess I have to investigate further.

i should clarify that it was the vanilla animation for hyper space that i had after removing those files, not the ones from this mod.

i'm going to do some digging, but it's possible that it's conflicting with another mod i'm using. i figure if it's frozen when i both have the 003ebo and if i remove them, that might be the issue. Not sure why the animation works when i remove the leh_hyper textures. i haven't played the game in so long, i'm not even sure if what i'm left with is the vanilla hyper space animation. it's just a swirling blue 'tunnel', nothing fancy at all. i'm fairly certain even the vanilla game looked better than that.

I'm not sure if this has been pointed out by anyone before, but the hyperspace animation isn't working for me. Otherwise, everything else is phenomenal. Could someone tell me which file the hyperspace animation is so that I can take that one out of my override folder?

It has been pointed out but I've yet to find the cause for that. Are you using the Steam workshop version of TSLRCM and/or M4-78 EP?
In any case, you'll need to delete all files starting with 003ebo. That will remove the changed hyperspace animation but also quite a few other changes I made.

No files were overwritten in my override folder when I installed this, and I have TSLRCM and M4-78 installed via steam workshop. What's up with that? Thanks.

Edit: it seems steam stores mods in a separate workshop folder for each game, separate from the main KOTOR2 dir. So should I copy the files from this mod to that override directory as well? Or will the main override directory supersede the workshop override directories.

When you have TSLRCM installed from the Steam workshop, you should install all other mods into TSLRCM's override folder. This recommendation usually includes M4-78 as you can run into many many problems with having mods installed in different locations.
In this particular case however, you can just install my mod to TSLRCM's override folder and then either delete/rename 003EBOq.mdl and 003EBOq.mdx in M4-78's override or replace them with my version.

Thanks for the reply and quick tutorial on modding KOTOR2! Had no idea it was so messy without merging the override folders. And thanks for the mod!

Modding Steam versions of KotOR 2 has been beautifully described in detail here:

Very impressive, some fine work there. Been some great new mods for both kotors of late, gonna have to check them out in game soon. Thanks for this one.
