Yes, it does precisely that. That means she comes in as a fully recognized jedi without having to build support. When you do however take her to make her a jedi, her status goes from, watchman to sentinel. So, I would recommend this: Raise her level as far as you can and add in the feats that come with watchman. Then, when you are ready, do what needs to be done with making her a sentinel. Every feat and power you acquired stays.
