Far from realistic, it's further from realistic than the vanilla game is. Seems like most "realism" driving mods have the same problem with lack of grip. Playing with a controller, and even the smallest turn of the wheel at normal speeds, for example slowly changing lanes on the highway, immediately starts skidding like you're driving on ice. Trying to turn even at low speeds is impossible, as you lose all traction and skid straight past your turn. Starting from stop is pretty stupid as well, as you burnout with the nearly the smallest touch of the gas.

The worst is the motorcycles. They're so ridiculous, it's comical. Vanilla motorcycle handling is actually pretty good (Coming from someone who hits the twisties on a regular basis), but this mod makes them skid around like a cartoon. Don't know if you can separate car and motorcycle traction, but motorcycles are supposed to be "glued to the ground". Drifting on corners while on a motorcycle is a complete nope. Uninstalled after the first turn on a motorcycle.

All in all, this is not even close to a real driving simulator, and am quite annoyed that my time was wasted downloading this. Hopefully I can save someone else some time. People may enjoy this mod, but it's not realistic. It's good for those that like to pretend they're in Tokyo drift.

"Hopefully I can save someone else some time."

You just did. Thanks for taking the time to write this. Normally I might just go ahead and try the mod anyway, but everything you said makes sense to me, so ...

Is there a way to keep vanilla handling just for the motorcycles? I think most driving mods change everything ....

I can confirm this, cars are just undriveable. Always read the comment section before installing a mod

I was about to install this mod without looking at the comments and I'm glad I checked. As a rule-of-thumb I will now be looking at comments first before installing a mod it'll give me/you a better understanding if this or another mod is worth downloading and thank you Sythriox for saving me the time.

It's a damn shame because I watched the video for this mod and it looked very promising, it says you can use a wheel which would be a game changer for me BUT would it work if a controller was connected too? The wheel would be useful for driving but for venturing around the world it just wouldn't work.

As others have said, not realistic at all. Much worse than vanilla.

Sorry I didn't enjoy this AT ALL. Every vehicle is sluggish and the wheels keep spinning endlessly until they finally grip. When I'm in a hurry to go I want to go. And the cars are also VERY SLOW. I sure hope you fix your mod. It's pretty unusable "as is". So I'll be using (Better Handling) instead for now. Please message me if you fix these issues, thanks.

Dude the mod is pretty good, but there is only one problem, the supercars, sport cars are just not handling very well in low speed, the others have it too but seens like the supercars are just broken, you need to get like 50 mph to get then handling better and not just spinning the wheels and not moving, these cars are supose to have a better acelleration and handling, culd you just fix them, that would be just fine, the rest of the mod is cool bro! good work finally a realist handling and damage mod mixed!

Really.. REALLY? This mod is a dang waste. Unfornantly I don't play with a controller yet though, but with a keyboard. Any car takes a while to even get moving, it's way too little grip and just spinning wheels like a moron. The handbrake, oh, well you can't bend your car anywhere. It just slides straigth past the point of no return. This is a horrible mod. Actually steering the car is a hell of a job aswell, it barely turns. Yea, i'd want some of what ya'll smoking. Peace.

If you want to be able to actually drive in the game again, do not get this mod.

    Pros:
    - Lots of changes
    - good for turning wheel players
    - realistic damage

    Cons:
    - Huge braking distances
    - awful turning (in your avearage vinewood hills junction you will sracth your ride even at 5-10mph)
    - very sluggish cars in overal, even slower than in vanilla
    - in overall it is equal to the slippery cars cheat

Would you care for adding manual transmission in your mod?

Its my first time using a mod like this on GTA5, I can't get it to work, should I install the ASI stuff on OpenIV? Run the game through OpenIV or Steam?

mod is great. i've noticed the rear end seems to sit a little higher up than usual it makes it easier to see the suspension and tires catch for drifting just looks odd. would like to ask though. do you know anything about adding force feedback to the wheels? just a thought this is so awesome i'd love to have the option but doubt rockstar put anything into it. i'm running a logitech dfgt and i've been tuning the wheel degree. do you happen to know what is standard for the 360 controller? if not it's all good. thanks alot for the hard work!
