awesome mod bro! seems to be the only working fuel currently. Was wondering if its possible to reduce the price or maybe the fuel bar slowly fills and you can manually stop how much you fill/ are paying instead of paying so much for a full tank? I know fuel is expensive but I want to escape reality :P
Hey, thank you very much I appreciate it! Believe it or not I made this mod because, after installing and trying every other fuel mod I could find and failing to make it work with my version of GTA4 and without the whole "Downgrade". I decided to fill in the blanks, and here we are! Now what you mentioned is a very good idea that I have overlooked for sure! I will take a gander at my code soon and see what I can do!
I agree with Littlefilms that it is the only one working! Thank you for this great mod! However, can you make an .ini file where we can adjust position of fuel bar? I have a speedometer mod installed and they overlap. This and what Littlefilms said :D Maybe we can adjust fuel consumption and costs in that .ini file. Thanks a bunch!
Thank you for the comment. I have found a solution. Simply create C: \ Program Files (x86) \ steam \ steamapps \ common \ Grand Theft Auto IV \ GTAIV on disk C, and then place (EPDT. SaveData) in the GTAIV file
im getting a script error everytime i get into a vehicle? (using the latest version of the game on steam, also tried redownloading the mod from here but the issue persisted). the mod loads in the icons etc for the map, but crashes once i get into the driver seat
for whatever reason, the mod thinks the game is installed on my c drive, but i have it installed on my e drive. its crashing while trying to look for the "fuel saved.txt" file, cause it cant find part of the path.
2024-04-18 01:15:37 - Error during Tick in script 'VehicleFuelSystem': System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto IV\GTAIV\EPDT.SaveData\fuelSave.txt'.
I had the same issue. You don't have to move the whole game to C drive. You just need to create empty folders leading to this directory and put this one "fuelSave.txt" file there, and it is enough. :D
Unfortunately, I have no clue. If done completely to the T, then all should work with no hassle. I also use a lot of script mod, mine included. I Definitely wouldn't know if it is a mod conflict either.
