I'm on Level 3 and I don't understand your Walkthru "Ancestral hallway: Maybe one of your deceased family knows the way." I don't understand what I have to do (Skrull?) and all the doors are closed.
Well, first floor level, not even out into the game. Room beside vendor demands gold, place idol in statue mouth, door opens, enters room. Game Freezes.
First of all, thanks for a GREAT mod, it really is as enjoyable as the original game. Very well done.
On to the Ice Ogre area, I must have missed something. Put the lightning staff in the gargoyle head and open a door/wall to access a new hallway. Down hall to dead end a take Dismantler backtrack to the right to find wall writing 'distraction' which prompts a charge from one ogre. You can lead that ogre back to the room with the life crystal and either lose him there or fight. Now back down that 'new' hallway and you get to a spot where another ogre ambushes you from behind and there is no way to run, hide, or fight. You've mentioned in other hints that there are pits and a square room with a door to hide in, but i dont see any of that, just a few grates on the ground that dont appear to do anything and at the dead end a switch that turns on a death chamber of some sort. Though i never live long enough to see what the death chamber actually does. What have i overlooked?
Yeah, its a greed thing (Youll find lots more of that on lvl 5) The Ogres placed it there to catch thieves. PM me and Ill tell you what it would purchase if it werent a trap (what is in the alcove)

In the end it was 4:53 played,with 19/25 secrets found (on hard difficulty)
