i really need to say this is NOT for casual players. u have no clues or better said u dont get obvious clues to what is going on. u dont even have a chance to scroll through what was being said from the characters. BUT the story is a good one. now im stucked with the mirror rooms where this (how is this thing called with the cape and no face?) thing and have no clue what to do. in a situation where it can damage u and u can get killed moving around like a headless chicken and dont even have a spot to look around what needs to be done just leaves me to a point where i say "deleted". sad to say but its like throwing a grenade into ur home and u have to puzzle around to get out of home and not get blown up from the grenade. thats not what i understand from this game. i want to take my time to look around what is beeing made (yes this mod is beautiful) and what needs to be done accordingly and follow the story. overflowing talking between the characters wont help. its like if u try to avoid someone punching into ur face and in the same time tells u how to evade the punch. lol?

BUT everyone should play it to make their own picture out of it. for veterans i say: "GO FOR IT". for the normal, beginners or casual players i say: "hey there are other more interesting mods out there".

For those of you that are interested I am creating the final 3 acts.
It will be a 16 level dungeon with about 3 hours of gameplay.
It is a lot harder than acts 1 -3. I have 7 Levels complete at the moment, but I could do with playtesters.

Originally I said that this would be a 6 act mod, but I kind of got carried away with act 5, making it larger than origianlly intended, but this means I have a solid plan for the last three acts. See acts 4 -6 for more details

I have completed three acts, here is the transcript of the first act.

    Spoiler ahead

    Spoiler:
    Show
    Act 1: Scene 1: Dreamworld

    Enter: Contar, Mork, Yanna, Sancsaron

The party find themselves in a wooded area. It is dark and the sky is black. They wander aimlessly for a while.

Contar: Where are we? How did we get here?

    Mork: We are… Nowhere…
    Contar: Hmph. Useful
Sancsaron: Mork is right. This place has no name.

    Party marches on…

Sancsaron: The trees seem to be going on forever…
Contar: No. They are thinning out.
Yanna: Ahead – I thought I saw a dead tree
Mork: We need to keep moving
    Contar: Why?
    Mork: I don’t know.

    Party marches on…

    Yanna: Look! A portal!
    Contar: Where?
    Yanna: Straight ahead.
    Mork: We should go through.

The party walks over to the portal. They step in and there is a loud crack of thunder.

    Scene 2: Forest Dream world

The party finds themselves in a wood again. This time there are stars in the sky.
    After a while Yanna speaks.

    Yanna: I know this place.
    Sancsaron: How so?
Yanna: I spent my childhood in these woods. My father’s home should be around here
Contar: I can’t remember how long we have been wandering.
Mork: Perhaps we will find some answers there.

The party finally find themselves at the entrance to a walled garden. As they walk in Yanna speaks again

Yanna: This is my father’s home.
    Mork: Nice garden.
Sancsaron: Did you spend a lot of time here?
Yanna: About 8 years. We moved here after… after my mother died.

The party walks along a well-kept path lined with urns. They finally arrive at the front door. Mork knocks.

Yanna: My father should be home. I don’t understand.
Sancsaron: Do you have a key?
Yanna searches her pockets. I… don’t have it…
Contar: Don’t you keep one under the mat?
Yanna: No. In an urn… but I can’t remember which

They party walks through the garden searching through the urns. Finally one of them pulls a rusty old iron key out from one of them. They walk back to the door and Yanna opens it.

    Scene 3: Yanna’s home

The Party finds themselves in an old stone building. As they step inside, the door shuts behind them. The door ahead is closed, no visible means of opening it. They head to the right, and as they walk into a small room they see a glowing Goromorg statue. A light whisper is heard

    Unknown: Mytol…
    Yanna: Did you hear that?
Mork: It came from that statue.
    Yanna: I don’t remember that statue…
Sancsaron: Look, on that alcove, a scroll.

Contar picks up the scroll. Immediately the door to the small room closes.
Sancsaron: When you picked up the scroll, that door shut.
Contar puts the scroll back in place. The door opens again.
Sancsaron: Seems the door is connected somehow to that scroll.
Contar picks up the scroll again, and again the door closes.
    Yanna: Read it, Contar.
Contar: ‘I came to the house in the woods. The old man was not here. I must find him’
Yanna: Who is looking for my father?
Contar: It doesn’t say. More questions than answers here.
Contar replaces the scroll, and once again the door opens.
Sancsaron: That’s not the only door that opened, we can continue into the house.

The party walks into the entrance foyer and sure enough the other door has opened. They continue into another small room. Footsteps can be heard nearby.

Yanna: That doesn’t sound like my father.
Sancsaron: Could there be anyone else here?
Yanna: I don’t think so. My father has few friends, and they are in the city.
    Mork: We should move on.

The party walks into a large room, well lit and there are lots of tables and chairs.
Yanna: This place is not how I remember it. Let’s head for the kitchen.

The party turns round the corner to look into the kitchen. They face another glowing Goromorg statue

    Unknown: Mytol…
Yanna: Another horrible statue! Who put that there! Who’s saying that?
Sancsaron: It is coming both from the statue and from a faraway place at the same time. I can’t explain it.

The party continue to the back door. There is another alcove with a scroll on it.
Contar picks up the scroll. Immediately the back door closes.
Mork: Why didn’t that surprise me?
Yanna: What does the scroll say?
Contar: I questioned the locals regarding the old man. He should be here. I’m heading back to the city. Maybe I can find out more there.
Mork: Someone is looking for Yanna’s father. That’s all we know.
Sancsaron: We won’t find any more answers here. We need to move on if we want to get to the city.
Contar replaces the scroll. The door opens again.
Yanna: I’m staying here to look for my father.
    Contar: See you later.
The party steps through the back door.
    Yanna vanishes.
Another portal appears, and with another crack of thunder they are transported again.

Scene 4: Back in the dream world

The party finds themselves in a dark open area again. This time the ground is flat, paved, ordered. The sky is jet black. Ahead is a small structure. Small identical structures are nearby. And other small structures, stretching seemingly into infinity

    Mork: Where are we?
    Sancsaron: Nowhere.
    Mork: Someone said that before.
    Contar: Let’s keep moving.
    Sancsaron: where are we going?
    Contar: The city… I think.
Sancsaron: Everyone’s mind has been affected. Memories are fragmenting somehow.
Contar: I think it is good that we realise that. But I don’t know why.

The party walks on. The landscape repeats itself.

    Mork: Look ahead, something different.
    Contar: I see it too.
    Sancsaron: See what?
    Mork: The ground is rougher.

The party walks on. The small structures vanish and another portal lies ahead.
    Sancsaron: We should step through.
Contar: Wait. Weren’t there four of us a while ago?
    Sancsaron: Yes. But who?
    Mork: A woman.
Contar: I can’t remember her name.
Sancsaron: She had to find her father. That’s all I remember.
    Contar: We need answers.

The party steps through the portal with another crack of thunder.

    Scene 5: The desert

The party finds themselves on a barren landscape. There are large rocks ahead. It is dark again. To the left and right winds howl and there is an impenetrable sandstorm barrier on each side.

    Contar: It is hot here.
Mork: This is the desert. Of course it’s hot.
Sancsaron: But it is night. It should be cold.
Mork: You are right. This place is… strange… but familiar.
Sancsaron: Did you not live in the desert before?
    Mork: Yes.

They party walks round a few more rocks.
    Contar: I hear ogres.
Sancsaron: I see them. Why aren’t they attacking?
Mork: Desert ogres. They are not aggressive. Besides, they can’t get through the blue sandstorm.
Sancsaron: Blue? Why is the sandstorm blue?
    Contar: Because we are dreaming.

The party come to a fortress. As they step inside the door shuts behind them.
Sancsaron: Another door shuts behind us…
Mork: My clan should welcome us.
They take another step. Contar notices a large skeleton on the floor. Behind it the roof seems to have collapsed, blocking the route ahead.
    Contar: Something happened here.
    Mork: You state the obvious.
The doorway to the left is open. On the right there is a table with a scroll on it. Sancsaron picks it up, and immediately the door closes. They look at each other.
Sancsaron: It seems we are not able to collect items in this world. Does you have any possessions… at all?
    Mork searches through his pockets.
Mork: I have nothing, not even a globe berry. (Pointing at scroll) - What does it say?
    Sancsaron unrolls the scroll.
Sancsaron: It’s an order from the council of Anderland… to a captain Tuvfea… You orders are to search the Desert Lands of the Hoof. Bring to justice the traitors, their associates and those harbouring them.
Mork: My people would never betray the King.
Sancsaron: Nevertheless a battle was fought here. But by whom, and when? Time does not flow here as it should. The scroll is new but the skeletons seem ancient.
    Mork: This helmet seems useable.
Mork reaches out to pick up a helmet… and it crumbles to dust in his hand.
Sancsaron: This battle happened long ago.
Sancsaron puts the scroll back on the table. The door to the left re-opens and they step through.
They are greeted by more dusty skeletons.
Mork ignores them this time and they turn to the right. Ahead is a closed iron door. To the left a short passage with iron grate blocking the way to an outdoor area. They walk up to the grate and look through.
    Mork: The graveyard.
Sancsaron: Which way now? The route is blocked.
Mork: A small lever controls the door.

Mork bends down and flicks a tiny lever. The door behind them opens. And they walk through. Again, there is an iron door ahead, and a passage to the left. They walk through the passage into a small crypt. On the left is a door leading to the graveyard.
Contar: This crypt is extremely small.
Mork: The crypt is for visitors who die here… We bury our dead.
    Contar: How… barbaric…
Mork: It is an ancient tradition.
Sancsaron: Where does this lead to?
Mork: Through the graveyard is the south road. It leads to… others of my clan.
Sancsaron: Do you have the key to this door?
    Mork: No… Wait…
    Mork searches his pockets again.
    Mork: Actually… I do… Strange it wasn’t there a minute ago.
    Contar: Open the door.
    Mork: No.
    Sancsaron: Why not?
Mork: You are not allowed in there.
    Sancsaron: Hey! Another tiny lever…
Mork looks at Sancsaron momentarily as if to say don’t touch it… Then just nods his head.
Sancsaron pulls at the lever and the second iron door is heard opening. They party marches back through the crypt and through the second door.
The corridor turns right into another room. It is a mess. The ceiling has collapsed in several places. They make their way round the obstructions. At the end of the room, half buried in rubble is another glowing statue
    Sancsaron: Look! Another statue!
Mork: That should not be there.
    Unknown: Mytol…
    Sancsaron: Who is Mytol?
    Mork: I think… I think that’s me…
    Contar: No… You are… Mork…

The party proceed into a small room. There is an open door at the other side leading into the open desert. Next to it is an alcove with another scroll on it.

Mork reaches over and picks up the scroll. The door immediately closes. Neither Mork nor Sancsaron are alarmed as they are now used to this happening.

Mork: It is a soldier’s diary. It reads – the Hoof clan denies all knowledge of the traitors. I did not believe them. There was a brief skirmish and I lost a few of my men. The Hoof clan fled down the south road. We will pursue at first light.

Sancsaron: I didn’t see any Minotaur bodies back there. Perhaps your clan prevailed.
    Mork: We should press on.
    Sancsaron: You are not staying?
Mork: No. My clan is strong and will look after themselves.
Mork and Sancsaron walk into the night air. With a crack of thunder again they are transported into another area.

    Scene 5: The Mine

The party find themselves in an underground area. The place is well lit and they can see the room they are in clearly. To the left of them is a huge pit, separated from them by an iron fence. Ahead there are three wooden doors, the one on the right is open.

Contar: I know this place. I worked here for many years mining coal.
    Mork: Why did you leave?
    Contar: I… can’t remember.
Sancsaron: Which way should we go?
Contar: The door to the right leads to the mess room.

The party takes a step forward and the room shakes briefly.

Mork: This place is not stable.
Sancsaron: Looks like it has been overworked.
    Mork: Where is everyone?
Sancsaron: I think we are alone.

The party opens the door to the mess room. It is abandoned. The ceiling has collapsed in the area ahead and there are skeletons dotted about the floor.

    Sancsaron: What happened here?
Contar: Gas came up from below. These people were suffocated.
Mork: Is there no way to warn the people of such a thing?

On one of the tables there is a scroll. Contar picks it up. Immediately the door behind them closes. He pauses for a second and reads the scroll.

Contar: The city council withdrew funding for the birds. They demanded more and more coal for the war effort.

Contar places the scroll back on the table and the door behind them opens. On another table there is an onld iron key.

The party head back out. The key wont ft the lock on the first door on the right, but opens the next one.

It leads to a long corridor. Towards the end the walls become smoother, more ordered.
Mork: The walls are better maintained here. It is getting cooler.
Contar: Yes, this passage leads to the offices. Beyond that, the stairs to the surface.

Eventually the come to a small room. It is finely decorated and there is a table at the end. Ahead is an open doorway to a short passage with a teleporter.

Contar picks up the scroll. Immediately both doors close.
Contar reads: ‘The workers are becoming more and more bothered by the budget cuts and the reduction in their lunchtime rations. We will have to shift funds to hire more guards. The output from the mine must increase to pre-war levels.’

Mork: The council did not care about the workers here.
Contar: I know. I worked here but got out just before the war.
Sancsaron: What did you do before you left?
Contar: I was a labourer and miner. I also looked after the birds.

Contar replaces the scroll. and both doors open again.

Contar: I’m taking the key to the lower levels. I need to find my family.

Contar dissapears. Mork and Sancsaron step into the teleporter.

    Scene 6
Mork and Sancsaron find themselves in a beautifully decorated passage. Ahead of them is doorway with two Goromorg statues facing each other. Behind that, another passage exactly the same, and another, and another, and another.

They walk on in silence for a while. Then, as they pass through one of the open doorways, the statues glow again and speak.

    Unknown: Mytol… Return to us…
Mork: Do you know who is saying that.
Sancsaron: The voices are coming from another world.
    Mork: Which world?
Sancsaron: I don’t know. But I do know, the further I walk, the more I know.
Mork: You sound like a mage.

Again they walk on. Again the statues call out.

    Unknown: Mytol… Return to us…
Mork : How far does this passage go?
    Sancsaron: It is a test.
    Mork: A test?
Sancsaron: Most warriors would have given up by now. Only the most determined make it to the temple.
Mork: Is that where we are going?
Sancsaron: Yes. The Temple. Where I was raised, trained… Where I lived and worked.

Again they walk on in silence. After a while the statues call out again.
    Unknown: Mytol… Return to us…
Mork: We are near the end.
    Contar: How can you tell?
Mork: You are a warrior. You are determined.

They walk on for a while longer and eventually they come to another portal. They do not hesitate this time and walk straight through

    Scene 7:

Mork and Sancsaron arrive in a small room. Again the walls are beautifully decorated. The door behind them is locked, and the only way ahead is blocked by an iron portcullis. They walk up to it

Mork: There is no way through.
Sancsaron: Yes there is. It is another test.
Mork: I must find the switch then.

After a brief search Mork finds a tiny button that opens the portcullis. They arrive in another small room with rooms to the left and right and an altar in front flanked by two dragon statues. Behind the altar and dragon statues is an iron grating. And behind that, another altar, flanked by two dragon statues facing the other way. They walk up to the first altar.

    Mork: What is this?
Sancsaron: Another test. The mirror test. We must match everything we see on the other side.
Mork : Look, on the other altar, a piece of bread.
Sancsaron: We must find the bread on this side and bring it to the altar. Don’t touch anything else.
    Mork: Got it.

They search the two adjoining rooms. To the right, the room has two warrior statues, and two alcoves. On the left alcove is a sword. On the right alcove is a flail. No bread. They leave the items as they are. The left room is similar. There are two alcoves, one next to a seemingly silent Goromorg statue, and the other next to a warrior. On the floor is an axe. On the alcove next to the Goromorg lies a piece of bread. Contar picks it up.

    Sancsaron: Don’t eat it.
    Mork: Why not?
Sancsaron: We need to complete the test.
    Mork: Ok.

They walk back through to the dragon altar. Contar places the bread on the altar.

    Mork: Nothing happened.
Sancsaron: The other items must have been moved.
Mork: We should look at the statues.
    Sancsaron: Good idea.

They walk to the room on the left first and Mork picks up the battle axe. The warrior statue next to the alcove on the right is carrying an axe. Mork places the axe on the alcove. A satisfying ‘ding’ is heard

Sancsaron: Yes, we need to put the axe here.
Mork: Even I understand that one.

They head for the room on the right and Mork examines the statues. One has a sword and the other a flail. The items are in the wrong place and Mork swaps them. Both give a satisfying ‘ding’ noise.

    Mork: Now what?
Sancsaron: Head back to the dragon altar and look at the bread.
    Mork: Why?
Sancsaron: I can smell it from here.

They head back to the altar. Mork lifts the bread, smells it and immediately puts it down.
    Mork: Yuck. It’s gone rotten.
    Sancsaron: Turn around.

They turn round and instead of seeing the iron portcullis they see another altar flanked by two dragon statues. Behind that an iron grating, and behind that another altar with dragons facing the other way. They walk up to it. On it is a leather cap.

Sancsaron: There is no cap on the other side. We should pick it up.
    Mork picks up the cap.
Mork: The door on the right is closed. We can’t access that room.
Sancsaron: Yes we can. The centre rooms wrap round.
Mork: how do you know that?
Sancsaron: I lived, and worked in temples like this, remember.

They walk to the room on the left. This time there are four alcoves in each corner. In the near left alcove is an axe. Mork picks up the axe. He lifts it and swings it in the air, spins it round and passes it deftly from one hand to the other. He repeats the action several times getting faster and faster.

Mork: This is a good axe. Well balanced.
Sancsaron: How did you do that?
    Mork: I don’t know.

On the right, the wall is replaced by an iron grate. It is possible to see another room and its alcoves. Straight ahead is a corridor. They walk through it and arrive in another square room. Again it has four alcoves in each corner, and it is possible to see another room through the iron grating. The alcove on the near left contains a sword, the far left has a flail. Sancsaron picks them both up, and looks puzzled at the room through the grating. On the left is a machete and on the right a cudgel.

Sancsaron: None of the items match. We can’t complete this puzzle.
    Mork: Yes we can.
    Sancsaron: How?
Mork: I know something you don’t know!

Mork takes the flail and places it in the alcove next to the cudgel and the sword in the alcove next to the machete. He walks back to the other room. Each time a satisfying ‘ding’ is heard

    Sancsaron: Ok, Ok… Tell me.
Mork: The items on the other side are lesser versions of the items on this side.
    Sancsaron: Ah, I see.

Mork places the leather cap and the axe in the other alcoves. Again each time a nice ‘ding’ is heard.

Sancsaron: Ok, back to the Altar.

They walk back to the altar. A piece of bread appears out of nowhere.
Sancsaron: Two down one to go!
Mork: I hope this puzzle is as easy as the other ones.

Both the doors to the left and right are closed.
Mork lifts the bread. Nothing happens. He puts the bread down and the left hand door opens.

Sancsaron: We need to move quickly. Someone is coming…

They walk through the opened door. In the room ahead is a glowing Goromorg statue.

    Unknown: Mytol… Return to us!
Sancsaron: Let’s take a closer look at that statue.

Mork and Sancsaron walk over to the statue.
    Realisation hits them both.

    Mork: I… I know who I am now. I am Mytol…

    Sancsaron: I am Nytor

    Nytor: We must move quickly

    Mytol: Agreed

Mytol and Nytor go to the door to the left of the statue. A lever is required to operate the door.

    Nytor: Hurry!

Mytol pulls the lever and as soon as they step through a Goromorg appears behind them.
Nytor: Run… Quick the door on the right looks weak… Smash it!

They run into the door just as a lightning bolt flies past them. Mytol dispatches the ill fitted door with one punch. The room shakes violently, but the shaking has nothing to do with the smashed door.

Nytor: The door on the left!

The door has a convenient pull chain… but it seems to take an age to open.
Nytor: Exit to the right! Move!

They pass through two more doors, only to arrive at a locked door.

Nytor: We missed a room! Turn round through the two doors we just ran through, it’s on the right...

They pass through the doors again. The room shakes violently.
    Nytor: On the right… Quick!

They open the door with the pull chain again, and step inside. The room shakes violently again and dust falls from the ceiling.

Nytor: Nothing! Wait! On the right, a small room.

They run into the small room. The ceiling has collapsed completely here. On the right side, under a lot of rubble is an urn, identical to the ones in Yanna’s garden.

Mytol: An urn. Why is it here?
Nytor: Don’t just look at it - search it!

Mytol reaches in and pulls out an iron key. The room shakes again
Nytor: Back to the door! Quick!

They run back to the door with a Goromorg in hot pursuit. The iron key opens it and they run through – into a portal.

    Scene 8: Understanding

Mytol and Nytor arrive again in an open area, but this time the pathway is narrow, restricted on both sides by metal fences. As they look ahead lightning balls graze the other side of both fences, bounce against an unseen wall and return. They then hit another wall behind them and bounce back, repeating and repeating.

Nytor: This is where split up my friend.
Mytol: Why, aren’t you coming with me?
Nytor: No. It is you, not I that are being summoned back to the living world.
Mytol: Will I see you again?
Nytor: Unlikely, but not impossible. It takes an army of acolytes and great power to summon someone from a world such as this. There are other methods of course, I sure the wi…
    Nytor Vanishes
Mytol sighs and walks on. After a short while Mytol gets a strange feeling of falling, falling falling…

Act 2: Tombs of the Hero’s

Mytol hits the ground with a start. It is dark, damp, smelly.
Slowly he begins to stand up. His legs are weak, and his vision blurred. When his senses return he realises he is in a tomb. Behind him is an empty alcove that he obviously fell out of.
