I absolutely abhored FC 3 vanilla. It was geared towards 10 year olds with all the ridiculous built in cheats and how unbelievably easy everything was (crafting, killing everything, spamming healing syringe running through bullets, etc.) Did not even bother with FC 4 till mods came out and Ziggy's haardcore mod was an absolute must for FC 3. This mod looks excellent, look forward to it.

There is also a nightmare mod here by bontainer that is already compatible with the latest version and is VERY difficult / more realistic. Be sure to check that out to if you want a good fun challenge
I just started with Far Cry 4 again and noticed that the current version is 1.10.0. This mod mentions nothing about patch 1.08.0 and above. Does this mod work for version 1.10.0?
If not, when will this mod be updated for the latest version? I am really interested in this mod so please let me know
Not "officially" (since I've not put the last nail in it's coffin), but I've pretty much just moved on to other things. I always intend to revisit it but never seem to have time to actually do it (same thing with my FC3 mods). I don't own the "gold" edition of FC4 and have no intention of rebuying the game again...
It's possible (but unlikely) I might return and try and fix compatibility. I have no idea if "gold" includes an updated file layout or if there was another final patch.
If modding Far Cry 5 is a thing I will very likely mod that.
i was wondering if anyone on here knows how to roll back my far cry update to 1.8? i want to play this mod but i can't since uplay autoupdated my game.
Testing right now, and I can confirm: this mod DOES APPEAR to function correctly on 1.10.0. I'm doing another full playthrough right now to test, but so far it appears to work. Intro videos are skipped, I can purchase everything from the start, etc. I am testing this using the Casual version, however, so the more in-depth changes in the other versions could result in them not functioning.
EDIT: Had the wrong version installed, lol. Switched to Casual, still works.

Never mind although the game doesn't crash immediately the hud menus and context prompts are all messed up, looks like I'll be reverting to 1.8

Why not include all unlocks by defualt.... I don't get it?
