Not bad, but how about an unzipped version that would make Shadman proud? This is it: http://fallout4-mod.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Shadmans-Vault-Meat-Pip-boy-1.jpg
I tried replacing the Slooty Vault Suit model with this one and it did not work (and that should essentially be the same as replacing the textures for this model). My game would CTD immediately.
Reply to EwokJedi: This is a replacer for the Courser X-92 mod. Not the Slooty Vault Suit. So it probably looks for materials and textures that are not there.
You can edit the nif file with nifskope and change the used materials but the textures may be placed wrong on the model.
When you download the file it should say you need the Courser X-92 mod. Doesn't it do that?
It does, and I realize this. I am simply responding to your own question. I realize this mod doesn't do that, but the person whose post we're responding to asked if that was available, and you said to try replacing the textures. I mess with nifskope a bit and got it working right like that, but the textures do not line up, so essentially when you ask "Have you tried using the textures from the original Slooty Vault Jumpsuit mod?", yes, I have, and no, this doesn't really give what people say they are looking for.
Not trying to suggest you are obliged to fix this or to make any such mod. The person above asked if it was available anywhere, and you recommended something, and that something doesn't work. Replacing the model for Slooty Vault Suit flat out causes a CTD, and replacing the Courser textures with the Slooty Vault Suit textures would probably work, but will not look entirely right, meaning it is not a viable option as suggested.
Additionally, replacing the textures for the Courser power suit mod also means you have to use the courser power suit mod, which isn't what most asking this question are after.
I guess my point is that you should just tell people it will not work for the Slooty Vault Suit as-is outright.
EDIT: Additionally, you may want to change the mod name since it does not accurately describe the mod/resource.
Thank you your this. I replaced the files as your instructions says and also replaced the nif in the bodyslider folder and renamed it to the old files name and now it works perfectly with my characters body. Looks great.
how would I be able to use this with the x-92 textures and have it in my game? Totally lost with this kind of stuff, and I feel like simply downloading and installing everything won't work lol
I thiiiiiiink you need to use NifSkope or ObjectViewer to replace it. I'm doing some fiddling with it now and getting a texture hashed up for it, but the zipper up section in the center gets extremely stretched and the pattern on the original texture looks really bad. So, trying to find a way to get the texture to look normal, or just removing the weave pattern of the original texture in place of a flat, but scratched/scuffed/damaged texture
If I get it working in a proper manner, I'll upload only if I get the permission of all involved parties. I can texture edit, but I know squat about editing UV map and meshes. It's making my D.Va mod a literal pain in the ass.
Do I need to download the original x-92 suit, or the Slooty Vault Jumpsuit? I installed the BodySlide and Outfit Studio mod, along with this, and I can't seem to find the suit anywhere, even with console commands
Open Outfit Studio. Select File -> New Project. Click next for the reference and then select OBJ and browse to the obj file. In the meshes part select suit and rightclick. Select "copy bone weight". Repeat for the belts and boots. You probably need to use the inflate brush on the suit mesh or the deflate brush on the CBBE mesh to get rid of clipping. Now export with reference to NIF.
It's a little different to what this tutorial does: Video 21: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7601/?
You can now have the model in the game but the texture needs to be added with nifskope. And I haven't looked into nifskope yet.
yeah, I tried following what you said, but got totally lost. There isn't any OBJ option in the "new file" thing after References, and I wasn't able to open it anyways. And there's a ton of tutorial videos and I could find any that could help...
I think I'm just ganna wait til the experts figure this out
Could you do a version that applies to the original Slooty Vault Suit? If it's not too much hassle, because I have no idea where to even start doing it myself
The courser armor uses the Slooty Vault Suit mesh AFAIK. So you should be able to replace the mesh with mine and then change the texture using mine as a reference. Or did I misunderstood your question?
You need to install the Courser X-92 mod. Then find the texture folder ( textures\DX\CourserPowerSuit\Suit ) and replace the suit_?.dds files with your own. Replace the suit.nif in the correct meshes folder: meshes\DX\CourserPowerSuit\Suit
I've added a UV Mesh texture in the optional files. To make it easier to create your own textures.

Ah, screw it. It doesn't need to be this complicated, shouldn't it just be easy to have this mod overwrite the texture of the X92 suit using NMM?

Not quite as far down as shadmans.

*sigh* if only guys weren't so perverted with clothing mods, this would've already been solved lol

Should be compatible to bodyslide now.
