Okey, there are some problems with semi transparent option. First is, I am a big noob in Fallout 4 meshes editing and second is that game handles transparency not too good so I will need more time to do this.
If someone could help me with this I would be very thankful and give this person a credit for help.

Does putting windows in homes stop radiation from entering? This would be a nice option to go with new window installation.

"I (probably) will release a semi transparent version soon. "

Spend more time playing, it's already been done.

Well I used this until I made this and it does not make windows non-broken and transparent, it just removes the pieces of cracked glass.

gambit77 it doesn't matter if someone has made another, this mod is still different - the effort is still valid.

"The mod you were looking for couldn't be found"

This is why it is good that there are choices. Mods come and go.Two different mods may do the same thing, but have different features.

Damnit... I was looking for a mod to fix the windows on old houses... and instead this is the only option: opaque windows.

... Y'know what... I think I'm going to take a shot at this myself. See just how badly partial transparency is handled. See if maybe I can do what this mod couldn't...

Well... why would you want a window that looks boarded up? I mean obviously you're not seeing out of these.

Haven't checked said meshes, but assuming the glass is a separate BSTriShape, you can change the BSLightingShaderProperty to BSEffectShaderProperty and use a BGEM instead of a BGSM material file. You can than manage opacity via the dds as normal.
