This mod will not be updated any time soon. I wont be returning to any fallout 4 modding until there are better tools available for mesh support, its just too much of a hassle for mediocre results. In the meantime I am working on a much more ambitious project on Skyrim. After that is complete then I may look in to returning to Fallout 4 again and finishing these mods, Id rather they wait and look good then take shortcuts now with poor results.

Hello, I'v managed to get this to highest upgrade mark v11 , I think it is, and notice anytime armor bench the stats never changed like they do when upgrade armor peices you find on people , is that right, are they mean to change or they level with the player??, ... Really reminds me of the classic combat armor. Ditch that BOS under armor for something else, tweak the torso a little to get rid of that weird metal at the top, and make it olive-drab and you'd have yourself a pretty damn good imitation. I hope you get back in to modding eventually because there's promise here.
I am back in to modding but I lost all my fo4 files. I'm working on skyrim se stuff and have moved away from armor stuff, working more on scripts and auto patches now
Not likely sorry, I just dont have the time for modding at the moment and ive been away for so long that id likely have to start from the beginning to get back in to it.
I love the look of this armor - please don't give this project up. There's so few good mods - especially ones with any kind of story/quest involved in them.
I am actually back modding now but unfortunately I lost all my old files. so unfortunately I won't be able to work on this anymore with textures. I might be able to revisit it and fix the stretching issues in the mesh though
Thats because it uses the vanilla combat armor meshes. It's been sliced up into seperate pieces to create different combinations, so instead of 3 stages of (heavy medium and light) armor there are now 7. Its also got other parts from other armors used with it, and all textures have been redone from scratch, its still not finished, and will probably start it again with all that ive learnt since starting this and may even use custom meshes now that im beginning to learn more about 3d, but that doesnt mean i didnt put a lot of work in to this, but yeah, sure, vanilla combat armor, its still a shyte load more than youve contributed.

I would also like to do my own retexture of the finished project for the mod just mentioned, obviously only if that was cool with you.
I will be updating this mod page for a while, but the final release will be its own mod page, i will definately make mention of it on here though once i reach that stage
And yeah youll be welcome to do retextures, I dont need much in the way of textures at the moment, just adding in the rust and everything to the base textures now and other than that just have to fix these damn shoulder meshes and figure out why they're warping now.
Awesome. Glad to hear it! I am also well versed in fo4edit and niftscope. Not so much Blender though haha. Let me know if you need anything. I like the challenges haha.
ahh yes sorry i forgot to mention it is female only at this point. I will be releasing it properly with male as well but at this stage it just creates double the work so working on female first, once I have everything fleshed out better I will create the male nifs and just copy them in on the armor addons.
