I haven't done yet I will not give up so easily... New mesh already added with UV textures - last picture. Low POV setting so its look fat But in real... Now im trying to find way to put it in game. So much things to learn!
I'm workin on new mesh still based at previous. This one has more details like strap and piece of under layer. Thanks again for filght cap. I already resized mask and cap fit inside of mask so there should be no clipping issue anymore. A little more work I have to do with it now so stay patient. This is my priority right now. Now I need to sleep and rest. See you tommorow. Oh! I almost forget. Do you say that filght cap "disable" ear mesh? If yes that would be awsome news because mask will look much better if I could make it narrower at sides.
Yes as far as I know the cap disables ears and hair. Double check by loading base head in again, if the cap clips with the ears then it's safe to assume it removes them in game. Looking forward to it all, Also for death strokes armor I think the mesh for heavy leather armor will actuall work really well, but without the ridges on the shoulders. And new textures of course
Hi, everyone. Still working on that mesh. No, its not forbidden. I had to remodel it almost from beginning. As I said erlier this one will have more details, so its need more time and you have to wait a little more time. I'm sure its totally worth the effort.
OK, Mesh is done. Base head should not break through mask. I almost create new mask. Now I need to go outdoor for an hour. When I get back, I'll take care of proper textures (this can take much more time). I will upload new fixed mesh with corrected coordinates, and ruddy88 did you can test it on complete head to see if back of mask and neck fit properly? would be great.
Nope, I've just found something. Deathstroke mask should have diffrent shape at back. Flat back of this mask is bothering me and now I know what is wrong. This is MASK and it should be assumed to front not up. Back of the mask is something like balaclava with strap and buckle. I've found very good picture of it. I'm gonna make it right. Still I need feedback about does it fit on player head without clipping.
lol, you didnt delete the other objects when you exported so the deathclaw mask, flight helmet and base head are all merged together as one OBJ now, you have to delete the other objects before you export it
Scratch that, worked out how to seperate by groups for easy deleting. Its still clipping, Ill send you a new OBJ to use as a reference though, the flight cap should give a much better idea of the shape of the head, also i realised ears wont matter if we use the flight cap underneath since it eliminates the ear mesh im pretty sure. will PM you a dropbox link for the flight cap OBJ in a moment
Thanks for agreeing to help. Now textures with scratch marks is needed. If someone could help will be great. I'm trying to do it on my own but blender is not my native tool
Textures is what I tend to do more anyway. I am sending you a PM now, I have it working in game BUT, theres some clipping issues due to the shape of the mask versus the shape of the head, the mask sort of assumes that ears are pressed in and the concave section in the back creates clipping at the back of the head. The only way i can stop it is to make it bigger but then it looks more like a novelty mascotts mask. You would be better off importing the base head used and model around it. Im not good with actual 3d modelling so not able to make adjustments in blender myself im afraid. In saying that, it is close. And as far as the textures go, I can also do that for you though Id need it to be UV unwrapped, for this test I just applied a plain black metal texture that I have been using for other mods, there is no 'split' down the middle for the gold and stuff. Anyway, i can upload it for you to have a look, if you are able to set it so that I have permissions to modify files on your mod page, in the mean time, heres a screenshot i took of it in game, you can see what I mean by the clipping. (I also made it so it uses the brown flight cap in its armatures, same as most helmets, as this removes the hair).
I actually said all i needed to say here so wont worry about a PM, if you add me to the permissions in your mod file as able to access files then I can upload a zipped file with the new NIF, ESP and other files.
Done, permission granted. OK, now I can see how it fits (or not). Upload and I'll take a look. For now I see it won't be difficult, that's all I expected...to narrow at sides and to flat on back. Front still needs to be a little fixed. I'm waiting for base head shape and as soon as I get it, I'll start ASAP. Thanks for details review.
ok done, uploaded a zipped file, has a resources folder which has the OBJs that i used as a reference, the flight helmet and base human head (its incomplete though as youll see, due to the way fo4 handles heads and faces), as well as an install folder for you to use to install the ESP, just drag and drop the contents of the DATA folder in to your games data folder and activate it manually or through NMM. Let me know if theres any issues
Now I realize that in Batman game, Deathstroke/Slade has no nose at all LOl his face is flat... Don't worry! my surgical skill are just straight from commonwealth, so there's nothing that can't be done But these ears... in real life, helmets change our ears shape by flatting them... this will be tricky, but as my father say's: "Things that cannot be done - I make them at once, for miracle - you need to wait a sec."

The main thing is though, at least we CAN get it in game with ANY 3d modelling program that can work with OBJ files.
Let me know if theres any issues
