Support for 4th tier of perk added in Nuka World DLC.
Retextured The Mysterious B.I.G. case-file found in Nick Valentine's office.
Added the two previous suits (white and pinstripe) into a levelled list so The Mysterious B.I.G. appears with random outfit.
Changed the maximum HP an enemy can have before The Mysterious B.I.G. appears from 150 to 300.
Version 3.2
Version 3.2
-Removes B.I.G. clothes as it was spawning in all suitcase. You have to spawn his clothes with debug console.
Version 3.1
Version 3.1
Fixed paths for meshes and a faulty material path, the CK is bonkers. Loose files is back on the menu.
Version 3.0
Remade mod from scratch. Files are organized differently and the old paths are invalid. If you manually un/install make sure you delete the old files. I kept the same plugin name to avoid users seeing the missing plugin prompt when loading their saves (despite my OCD to remove the blank space in the name).
The vanilla sounds will not play anymore if you have the games ambient/background music on. I still recommend you turn it off though, for immersion! :)
All sounds were remade from scratch again (PCM WAV 32-bit 48Hz before converted to XWM) and more added making the total 58 samples that play randomly everytime Mysterious B.I.G. appears.
There are now 3 samples for the perk chart that also play randomly when hovering over the perk (The previous default one, the earlier "Notorious" sample and a new one).
Remade all textures, there are now a white version (default), a black pinstripe version and a alternative slightly grimier white version (optional downloads available for PC only until Bethesda implements optional installations for their platform (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9392).
Changed model for the hat, it's now based of the Fedora in the vanilla game, the previous model was low quality.
Changed the loadscreen art to show The Mysterious B.I.G. instead of The Mysterious Stranger.
Changed the case-file in Nick Valentine's office to reflect the alternative lore of The Mysterious B.I.G. (thanks for the reminder kamronshepard)
Added a set of the B.I.G. outfit ("Mysterious B.I.G. Suit" and "Mysterious B.I.G. Hat") to a container in Nick Valentine's office. For exact location please read the case-file. (as requested by XB1 users)
Version
Version 2.5
Added more sounds and remade all audio to sound and fit better. There are now a total of 20 different sounds that randomly trigger when B.I.G. appears as the mysterious stranger.
Also added two optional files, one for an alternative pinstripe outfit for B.I.G. and one for the older "Notorious"-sound in the perk chart. These must be installed after the main file has been installed, overwrite any conflicts when prompted.
gyashaa has stopped working on this mod so this is my (King Tobbe) first update. If there are any problems please don't spam his inbox.
Version 2.0
Added 11 new sounds to when Biggie appears, making 12 in total. (Yes, you can have all of them at the same time and they play at random! :D ) Special thanks to kingtobbe for providing the sound files. :)
Changed the perk chart sound to the beat of Hypnotize. It doesn't play perfectly but it's something. I'll see if I can fix it. Please tell me if you want a different sound for the perk chart.
Version 1.3
Changed file paths so that you can now disable the esp and it will go back to the original Mysterious Stranger without the "Notorious" sound. Also renamed the Notorious sound file to "Biggie_Appears" for easy identification.
Version 1.2
Brought back the original perk chart sound. Biggie appearing sound stays the same.
2016-10-01 Version 3.6 New textures and some minor tweaks.
Have you ever found The Mysterious Stranger and the related perk uninspiring and boring leaving you ignore the perk entirely? You are probably not alone. Despite being the only character to appear in all canon Fallout games not much effort to flesh out this character has been made. Apart from the overt implications made in Fallout New Vegas which strongly hints that The Mysterious Stranger is the father of The Lonesome Drifter (although depending on your actions and character build The Lonesome Drifter could also appear to be your child from a night spent in a drunken stupor some 18 years prior). This is where this alternative version comes in.
After Christopher Wallace (aka The Notorious B.I.G.) was ensnared by producer and soul-eater Sean Combs he quickly realized that mo' money equaled mo' problems. Feeling disillusioned and numbed creatively he started to wander the world seeking a higher purpose to rekindle his artistic flame. Fools say he was murdered in 1997. More enlightened persons say he was abducted by aliens and subjected to countless of experiments before managing to escape. Still others claim he was exposed to a rare strain of the F.E.V. virus which have granted his many unusual abilities. Whatever the truth may be one thing is certain, The Mysterious B.I.G. is back in the East Coast.
The result is glorious, check the video below and the testimonials further down for more information.
Kotaku: "How does it take 3 games until the mod community come up with something so perfect?"
Gamespot: "The Notorious B.I.G. is probably the last person you'd expect to see in Fallout 4, but thanks to a new mod, Biggie himself can now surprise players by showing up and shooting up an enemy when they least expect it."
Geek: "Over on NexusMods, a modder by the handle of gyashaa (with help from King Tobbe) has turned Fallout 4‘s The Mysterious Stranger into the rapper Notorious BIG. The mod is called The Mysterious BIG, and it is glorious."
Unilad: "As you might expect, the character model looks like Mr B.I.G – but the real perk to this mod is that it swaps in various Biggie lyrics, which results in hilarity."
Mediacraft: "You get to see Biggie again AND hear his dope verses while shooting at raiders and ghouls! What can be more fun than that?"
Gamerant: "One fan of Fallout 4 gives rapper The Notorious B.I.G. life after death by putting Biggie Smalls in Bethesda’s retro-futuristic RPG with the use of mods."
TechTimes: "This one will surely put a smile on every Fallout 4 players' face: a new mode, dubbed The Mysterious B.I.G., is now ready for download. And, yes, it's pretty hilarious."
Fraghero: "As if Fallout 4 wasn’t wacky enough at times, now you can ditch the old Mysterious Stranger and upgrade (yes, it’s definitely an upgrade) him to Biggie Smalls, or as the mod creator dubbed him, The Mysterious B.I.G., which is all kinds of great."
Aux: "No, it’s not all a dream, vault boys and girls: through the magic of PC game modding, you can now have everyone’s favourite NYC MC lend a murderous helping hand in Fallout 4."
Use Nexus Mod Manager (or Mod Organizer, Wrye Bash) or manually extract contents to your "..\Fallout\Data\"-folder. From version 3.0 filepaths changed so if you manage your mods manually please take note of this.
Any mod that changes the mysterious stranger perk will conflict with this mod. Also any mod that edits Nick Valentine's office will also be incompatible.

King Tobbe for currently supporting and updating this mod (and therefore the person you should direct your angry PMs to). Made the newer textures, plugin and sound.
