Thanks for this useful mod. It's great being able to line things up and the ability to use half-square increments is ideal in spots where a wall is almost, but not quite in the right spot :)  And I really like the way the design work in the FO4 world without breaking immersion. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to build settlements.

Hi, I use helper tile too much. Is there any way to put it in the Special menu in the workshop?

    suggestion:
to make 1x1 foundation block, something like http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7780/? , which doesn't snap/stack at latest game ver.

    I looked everywhere in the workshop menus and I can't find this/these tile(s) ?

All folders were put where they should be, and the mod's name was properly added to the plugin.txt ( with the * ).

Thanks to this tile I was able to floor easily the Murkwater rundown house. The porch is ideal for the half length snapping, it saved me nightmare of modposing due to the house being rotated by 33°.

Nice. I was planning a builders tools mod along similar lines, guess I may not have to bother

I also figured hex floor and roof tiles and a "builders string" would be useful. So I'll poke at them instead

As i understand, the tile is only 1x1, and so every snappoint is tied to a very small area. Wpuld it not be easier, to spread the snaps over a larger tile?

Spreading the SP over the next larger tile (2x2) would basically yield the same results as what is already achievable by using four 1x1 tiles instead. And placing quarter SP on the larger tile would only compound the problem as I'd end up with even more SP on the same tile.

The only viable option to minimize the number of SP would probably be to create a 0.5x0.5 version of the vanilla 1x1 tile. I might be willing to give that a shot if there's enough interest

Then you wouldn't have as many snaps since the intervals are larger. Plus these tiles also take up space and you may end up not being able to place other objects in the same space.

This is super helpful/useful, and is targetted at those who are perfectionists, have OCD, or those who just like to be precise.

I think the use for this piece is, when you have a balcony attached to a doorway entrance (center of a big tile side), and want to line that balcony back up with only one corner of the "big tiles". (since for lining up with both corners, you can simply connect into the area from the side with two of the already available smaller tiles)

This looks promising, and may just help when building a wall around non-squared settlements (looking at you Sanctuary!).
