looks like I'm using the "Fallout 4 Performance Optimization Med-Hi Set (Test) setting", with some optimizations on my pc, like resolution and some tweaks I'm using, because it's working really well, although it feels weird seeing the graphics a little blurry, but yeah how else ? :), at least it can still be playable, ohh yeah and also i'm using mods like light, shadow, mods that approach RayTrace, maybe some places or the interior is a little heavy maybe this can be petrified

    -1600x900
    -AMD Ryzen 5 5600g
    -8gb x2 Ram
    -SSD

    FPS from 40 to 85

id say its very good work :D
Promise to buy GPU next time hahahaha

I didn't understand anything. It's magic. I played on a good (at that time) computer in 2014, an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3340 processor, 16GB DDR3, NVIDIA 750 Ti, a 1920 x 1080 screen. Everything else is native. In the settings there was TAA smoothing, high textures, everything else is low-medium, the checkboxes at the bottom in the launcher are disabled. And the maximum drawing distance is everything except grass. From the Horizons and NAC mods, the rest is small things, the performance should not have been affected. I got 40-60 fps with drawdowns of up to 30 in the dungeons. In some places (for example, the lobby of Shelter 95), it was reduced to 20 fps. Now I downloaded Fallout 4 Performance Optimization Med-Hi Set, went to the launcher, looked at the changed settings and went to test with great doubt. And ... the performance has not changed. But the picture has become much nicer. Perhaps this is due to the changed drawing distance. I didn't pay attention to it (but I'm already writing a comment, yes). I think the author would not reduce it much? How can I increase productivity in dungeons?

First i want say ty for setting this is realy help me but for my case i must use double step to make this setting work corectly: for anyone who have trouble after use this like see object disaspearing . maybe this will be helpfull first u need download and use his Fallout 4 Performance Optimization file (the first file on author list) and replace all of it on ur game and then download and replace it again with Fallout 4 Performance Optimization Med-Hi Set (Test). in my case if i not do this my game may have fps boost but interior object start appear and disappearing. and for more fps then combine it with this tweak https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/29078 and dont forget to change iNumHWThreads=xx (xx = how many threads your CPU has (threads ok not cores)) on Fallout4Custom.ini from this tweak. for example i am using ryzen 5 3400 g and its have 8 threads so just change it like iNumHWThreads=8

Hmm... I'm certainly not an expert, but it might just be a hard drive problem, since Fallout is a very large game. I have similar problems with Fallout 4.

Of course, it could just be new, intense graphics qualifications, but I think it's just the fact that I have an HDD rather than a SSD. (Most people don't think to list that on their specifications.)

I mean, if you do have one, I stand corrected. (And please tell me so that I know if that is my problem.)

it tends to run a lot smoother when I put everything on the lowest possible settings. Still lags though, especially in clutter heavy urban areas

Another pro tip for people with old spinning HDDs (NOT SSDs!) is to use the ms tool contig which defrags individual folders rather than the whole hard drive so if you place the tool contig into your fo4 data dir and execute it will place the entire data dir at the front of the hard drive giving even more hard drive opt to those older disks. Considering my data dir is 80gig strong on a dual WD green raid config which i use for movies and music and plenty of games aside from fo4 this will give good solid boost to loading times. I currently load interiors in around 5 seconds and exteriors are usually around 30 seconds with Xeon quad core 4gig, 12gigs 2133ddr3 and gtx580 but excellent guide interesting tweaks.

If you look up Contig, you can find it.

But be warned - you have to know how to run things from the command line to be able to do it. There is no GUI guiding you what to do when. It can be quite frustrating if you are not already experienced in using the command prompt (or PowerShell).
