Minor request: When the mods you're uploading are JUST BATCH FILES, can you also just include a copy of the batch file in the description? I understand that you may have to upload at least one file in order for Nexus to accept the mod to publish. But if we could just copy and paste the batch file from the description directly into MS Notepad, that would save us the tedium of having to use 7zip to unzip the file.
Yes, all bat files are run as console commands. 1) manually place the bat file (text file) in your main FO4 director - the one with the .exe file, not the data folder. 2) Open the console, type "bat nameofthefileyouwanttouse" without quotes. bat files are typically just collections of console commands compiled in a single text file that you can then run using one console command. Works nicely to save time rather than entering say 10+ separate console commands. In this case, you can accomplish the same by entering two console commands, which the author could have noted on the description page.
Basically, open the console and type "Set RailroadClothingArmorModAvailable to 1" (not quotes, hit enter) "Set RailroadClothingArmor_ChanceNone to 0" (no quotes, hit enter)
You now have access to the ballistic weave crafting abilities. Note you also need different ranks in the armorer perk depending on which weaves you want to craft.
No, just copy this file on the root directory of your game (where the fallout4.exe is), then open the game's console and type the following : "bat enableballistic" (without the " " of course) and press enter.
