I have a mod that buff damage and area of the Nuke to become REAL NUKE... now thats really a problem, hope this mod working or it just a mess with some guys keep spamming nuclear weapon out of no where
** The worst of the game is they keep spamming it at closed area like indoor or camp, and stupid thing are iam the only one get killed

how can nobody see that there is a MASSIVE problem with missile launchers and raiders. I have not seen a single mod or why to remove them anywhere. this is a way bigger problem then any other weapon

I don't know why but the mod isn't working for me, I still come across large raider and gunner squads and all the power armor guys have the Fat Man and keep spamming it.

I don't know if you're still maintaining/looking at this mod, but this mod actually removes/replaces the Fat Man everywhere. "The Striker" (found in Far Harbor) "Big Boy" (unique Fat Man sold by Arturo), and the "Nuka-Nuke launcher" (unique Fat Man designed to fire Quantum Mini-Nukes, found in the Nuka-World DLC) are all replaced by Missile Launchers/Combat Rifles.

All right... So I found a small issue when using the Combat Rifle replacer version... In the Far Harbor DLC there is this bowling alley, and inside you can find a modified Fat Man that launches bowling balls called "The Striker". I wasn't planning on using it, but it can be another unique to hang on my wall. Well, you see the thing is that with this mod it replaced "The Striker" with a combat rifle.... that shoots bowling balls.... It looks like a combat rifle without its front barrel (like the barrel of the rifle is just missing), and a bowling ball floating on the stock of the rifle. Still reloads like a combat rifle, but it does indeed still shoot bowling balls... Did anyone else encounter this?

Thank you for making this. Finally had enough in my current survival playthrough. I heard a raider go "Is someone there?" above me, and when I looked up he shot a mini nuke THROUGH the metal bridge he was standing on right down on top of my head... It hit me so fast I barely had time to hear the whistle... lol
Installing now. Here's hoping this still works.

Yeah I was level 7 and encountered a Raider in full raider power armor with this weapon as well. Thanks Bethesda...

The worst part about NPCs having Fat Mans (Fat Men?) is that they couldn't give a crap about range or collateral damage even if they wanted to. Once I even had a bandit round a corner and run into me, promptly firing his Fat Man into my chest and doing minimal damage to me (power armour, bitches) but blowing himself and his mate to smithereens. Saved me the trouble of having to shoot them myself. I swear, sometimes I can't help but think that raiders must be retarded or something.

Thanks for the mod, though. It'll make it a touch more realistic, I'm thinking, not having bandits and gunners running around blowing themselves up.

Lore-wise it's also pretty senseless when playing with BoS to be sent to Fort Strong when Raider can get hold of same ordinance and in your case kong, kill themselves in a laughable manner. I could see BoS or Captain Wes having the skill and training to use one properly but, Raider in Lexington on an overpass - nope.

Geez I just started running into this problem in my current play through. I encounter a group of raiders and I hear a mini-nuke dropping narrowly avoiding the blast but it takes out all 4 of my companions at the same time, I begin to gun it but before I can I hear another one go off to my left crippling my legs in the process and finally a 3rd one hits me and takes me out...

It's like they just activated cheat codes or something.
